I had this idea out of the blue and wanted to share it. It's just a short letter from Otonashi to Hinata talking about an interesting occurrence that happened to him and the outcome of this occurrence.

Dear Hinata,

I'll probably never know why I did it. I heard her sweet voice humming such a familiar tune and I just acted on impulse. As I touched her slim shoulder she turned around and gazed questioningly at me. I knew that I had better say something.
"I'm sorry miss!" I shouted embarrassed "I just feel as if I know you from somewhere." Her beautiful amber eyes stared into my brown ones. I defiantly recognized her from somewhere, I just couldn't quite figure out where.

"I'm Yuzuru Otonashi," I quickly sputtered trying to recover from the embarrassment.

"Yuzuru Otonashi," she said quietly, "My name is Kanade Tachibana."

"What a beautiful name, "I replied. Her name, face, posture, everything about her was familiar. I had another impulse and quickly pulled her into a hug. She hugged back.

"I missed you, Yuzuru," she said quietly.

Tears started rolling from my eyes, "I missed you too Kanade."

I still don't know how all of that happened. I don't know how Kanade and I knew each other and I don't know why I did what I did and said what I said. Kanade is just as confused by it as I am. All I know is that I'm in love and will be marrying my angel, the woman of my dreams in a few months and I want you to be my best man.
