My fingers moved over the lettered keys of my laptop in a flurry. The sentiments and descriptions which developed within my mind, deposited themselves on the screen. The words, complied together and created layered, evolving sentences which would make up our story.

Or one of them, anyway.

The rest were already written, and procured in the their moment in time. Although, I've been told I'd hadn't captured every detail as accurately as I would have thought.

Bella informed me of the various things I'd gotten incorrect. Her visions allowed her to pick out the discrepancies. I wasn't all that concerned with previous details, as I was certain of the current ones.

Though, I enjoyed listening to her find what she dubbed errors of perception, while she combed through them shortly after arriving home. Not that she needed to look at single page.

I listened to the rain as it pinged lightly against the window pane and streamed down the glass, like so many wasted tears.

I typed a few more lines, but stopped when I heard the nearby door open swiftly, then close. I wondered idly what she would be doing outside for a few minutes before I left to go find out.

The rose garden had bloomed and blossomed over the expanse of the spring. Our daughter seemingly kept herself on a parallel journey. Bella was nearing her due date and projected as much, standing along the edge of the overgrown splendor. She had taken to collecting a few of the larger flowers, which were near fully bloomed.

"She likes roses." Bella spoke to me as she wandered in the past, uninhibited and serene as the water droplets which rested on fragile petals.

"Show off," I muttered lovingly.

In a wave of awe, I realized this is what I'd witnessed many months prior within Alice's thoughts. When the door to my future had been placed in front of me. The reality of it never seemed feasible, like a mirage in a barren landscape of pitfalls which were sure to do away with it.

The flourishing rose garden and our daughter due within the month, was the first glimpse I had of a future I wanted to fight for.

Bella's smiled brightened, the satisfaction and resolution amplified by the roses. Upon inhaling she opened her eyes and the fierce coral unabashedly showcased her endless wisdom.

"I'll take that as a compliment." A short awkward curtsey followed, as the roses spilled their droplets and they conjoined with the rain in play.

"Just about three weeks now." I collected the roses Bella held, and guided her into the house.

"Alice says two," she reminded, taking an unsteady step. I held her up, with my free hand.

With her mention of my sister, I remembered we easily decided on a name earlier in the month. Alice had tried to keep it from us and let us come to the surprise of naming her on our own, but our indecisiveness, left her with little patience.

Amaya was the only fitting name we could divine for her.

We could rest assured the rain would always be with us.

I nodded. "I'm betting on, Alice."

A/N: To those of you who left your comments, asking me to finish this over the years, I thank you immensely. Every comment touched me in ways I cannot explain.

There isn't enough words to thank you properly, so I decided just to do what was asked instead. It was never from lack of trying this went unfinished for so long, it was a matter of time I didn't have an experiments I hadn't yet performed.

I hope I did them some justice, or if not, I hope you had at least one moment of joy while trudging through. Because then my work here is done. -J
