What if...
"What if..." Percy asked.
Sunny days in Central Park, Ah...
Percy had asked me to meet him at 12:00, now it was 12:40 and we were walking through the park eating hotdogs. Being a college student I barely had anytime free time. But luckily it was spring break.
Now we were playing our favourite game...
"..It was raining today?" He finished.
"Um, well I would run into the first building I guess... Isn't it pretty obvious?
Gods such a seaweed brain"
"Fine, here's another one... Umm what if a bunch of monsters came at us this very moment?" He asked.
"The usual, while you distract..."
"You stab and golden dust is everywhere" He finished with his goofy grin.
We continued asking each other random questions, and I noticed he kept playing with something in his pocket, probably riptide or something. Then he asked me one that hit me with surprise and shock.
"What if...None of this happened?" Percy asked as I sat on a bench and he threw our wrappers away.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean life, like what if we weren't demigods, what if there wasn't a prophecy, no camp and even bigger no gods?"
How much seaweed is in that brain?
"Um I guess life would be different, very different probably boring" I said with a laugh.
Then another big question...
"What if we got married and had kids?"
Now what has happened to my boyfriend?
"Uh" I said dumbfounded.
"You don't have to answer you know just asking" he told me after 10 minutes of silence.
"Sorry" I blushed. "It just surprised me you know..."
"Then... What if..."
Next thing you know he kneels down on one knee, takes out a small green like his eyes and silver lined box, and asks me,
"I asked you to marry me" And finished with his cute grin and green eyes that could melt anyone's heart.
"What if, I said yes?" I asked and ran into his arms while he slipped the beautiful diamond ring on my finger and kissed me.
I swear I heard clapping from strangers watching, but I didn't care. I was getting married! I thought as I stared in his sea green eyes grinning.
