Shizuo very much enjoyed the company of his silent kohai. Despite the fact the two rarely exchange words (since they are both generally silent people), Shizuo liked to believe that they shared a special bond; a mutual understanding that the need for words was unnecessary.

After a frustrating day of work, the two bodyguards were walking down the streets of Ikebukuro as per usual. An unlit cigarette hung lose from Shizuo's lips and he plucked it out before stifling a yawn. Sometimes he wondered how Tom-san was able to stay calm with such annoying customers because quite frankly, they were stupid shit heads who think they're in love.

A light tug at his sleeve caught his attention.

Vorona's slim fingers caught the cuff of his sleeve and he stared at her calm face. He raised an eyebrow and turned around to face her. "What?" he asked.

Vorona looked around, searching for the right words but she had only just begun learning Japanese and there were so many books that she needed to read. She pondered for a moment. "Uh.. десерт." She said and much to her dismay, the taller blond didn't understand.

"I don't speak Russian, Vorona-chan." he replied, lighting up his cigarette. "Try again?"

She nodded and wracked her brain for the right word. When she couldn't think of it, she reached into her pocked and pulled out a small notebook wherein she kept all her notes. She scanned through them in fruitless effort. She couldn't believe she didn't look up that word.

It was in these moments that Shizuo thought she was extremely cute.

From the corner of her eye, she spotted the strange girl with a huge notebook hanging around her neck. "Wait." she told Shizuo as she approached her.

Her senpai watched as she exchanged a few words with the girl and she came back with the notebook and a marker. Vorona started doodling.

After a minute or so, she raised the notebook up for him to see.

Shizuo smiled and nodded. "Alright, sounds like a good idea."

For once, Vorona actually smiled and she returned the things back to the girl who waved her good bye. She caught up with her senpai as they made their way to the cake shop.
