Hey everybody! I know I should be working on my other stories but this came to my head and if I didn't post it, I'll probably forget about it or delete it.

This is going to be a Hyourinmaru and Rukia one-shot. No pairing though, just friendship... though I'm planning on making a romance fic on Hyourinmaru and Rukia. If you read my one-shot, could you leave a review?

Memories

Rukia wiped her tears that kept falling no matter how many times she wiped them. She was thinking of her memories with Sode No Shirayuki and she was shedding tears that Sode No Shirayuki was broken. She couldn't believe it but it was true. She couldn't feel any reaitsu in the sword. It's now just a plain, ordinary sword. Rukia hugged Sode No Shirayuki close to her, crying quietly. She was sitting on a rock near a pond and she was thinking back when she first showed Sode No Shirayuki's first dance to Kaien when she felt another presance there with her. She stood up and turned around to face whoever was there. She was face to face with Captain Hitsugaya's materilized zanpakto. Hyourinmaru. Rukia's hand went to her katana, ready. "Are you my master?" asked Hyourinmaru.

Rukia was taken back. "Huh? Don't you know who your uh master is?" she asked.

Hyourinmaru closed his eyes. "I can't remember who I am nor can I remember my master." answered Hyourinmaru.

Rukia took her hand off her katana. "I can tell you who you are and who your master is." Hyourinmaru opened his eyes and Rukia took that as a sign to continue. "Your name is Hyourinmaru and your master is Captain Hitsugaya Toshiro."

"I would expect a captain to weild my power." Hyourinmaru said. "Thank you." He turned to leave but Rukia stopped him.

"Wait!" Rukia called out. Hyourinmaru turned to look at her. "I- I could help you to look for Captain Hitsugaya." she offered.

Hyourinmaru nodded and asked. "What is your name?"

Rukia ran to his side. "Rukia Kuchiki." Hyourinmaru nodded and started walking. Rukia smiled and walked along with him. She might not be able to have her zanpakto back, but she'll do anything to reunite others together.
