Harry Potter and the Delivery Witch

Inspiration for this story: Kiki rides a broom to deliver. Harry rides the broom to play quidditch. It's a shame that there are no crossovers between Kiki's delivery service and Harry Potter. So….I am making one!

Chapter 1: The New Hufflepuff Seeker

"Rumors say that this new seeker from Hufflepuff is good. Be on your guard, Harry," Wood says.

As usual the Griffindors enter the quidditch stadium in pride. Slytherins and Ravenclaws take sides. The Slytherins booed the Griffindors. Ravenclaws split in half…some cheering Griffindor and some Hufflepuff.

Madam Hooch stands at the center. 3…2…1 She releases the quaffle. Hufflepuffs and Griffindors battle their possession of the quaffle.

Harry waits patiently for a golden ball of light, the snitch. The snitch grants 150 points to whichever house that catches it and allows the catcher to win the game. Kiki is directly opposite of him and waits for the same goal.

"Hi. I am the new Hufflepuff seeker. My name is Kiki. What's your name?"

"Harry Potter"

"Glad to meet you, Harry."

Kiki has short dark hair and big black eyes. She is well mannered and the same age as he is.

"I am—

There it is the golden snitch! Harry flies in a flash. Kiki reacted after Harry. They chased after the snitch side by side. Harry goes for a dive. The snitch was so near the ground. But Kiki wasn't afraid. She also dived after it. The snitch dived and passed other players. Harry reaches for the snitch but Kiki was also next to him. They are too concentrated on the snitch that they missed what's in front of them. WHAM! They crashed into one of the stands.

This is the first time this ever happened.

Colin Creevey took pictures. Ron and Ginny gaped and Hermione was unsure who is going to win. They both got on their brooms again as if that didn't happen. Harry felt shocked. This is the first time he had to give his all for the snitch to neglect everything else. Kiki can definitely rival him. She also may stand a chance against Draco Malfoy. Draco looked in disgust to realize that a girl can surpass him in quidditch.

Kiki soared from the left. Harry soared from below. The snitch is in front of them once again. Kiki soared faster and caught the snitch.

The Hufflepuffs cheered. There was a loud excitement and the first time the Hufflepuffs win a game against the Griffindors.

"Kiki! Kiki! Kiki! Kiki! Kiki!" The crowd yelled. The rest of the Hufflepuffs surrounded Kiki and hugged her.

Harry got off his broom. He meets Kiki. He feels sad but happy at the same time that he finds a flying rival. They shook hands. The other Griffindors does the same to Hufflepuffs. There are pats on the backs and words like, "Good game."

This is the first time in Hogwarts History that the Hufflepuffs won Griffindor.

"Kiki. How do you fly so well?"

"Um let's see. In my homeland, I flew to deliver packages and the people are grateful of my flying and efficient delivery service. That is how I got used to flying."

"They didn't stare at you?"

"Why would they?"

Witches and wizards normally don't fly in front muggles (non-magic people). But in Japan it is a different story. Everyone is grateful for Kiki's delivery service.
