Sleeping. He loved to watch to watch her sleep. He loved the way she would mumble mindless things in her sleep, mostly referring to grocery shopping or something she had to buy for a birthday. Sometimes she would say his name in her sleep, and he was left wondering what she was dreaming about at that one moment.

Though, he sometimes hated when she was sleeping. He didn't like when she would wake up screaming and not tell him why she was screaming like someone threatened to kill her. He wouldn't ask her what was wrong, because when he did, she never told him.

In the mornings, she would be tired if she had a nightmare, but well rested if she had a good nights sleep. Even when he himself was asleep, he knew if she was going to wake up or stay asleep. He thought this happened because they were so close, but he had the feeling it was because they were so in tune with one another as corny as that sounds.

He knew that when she had nightmares and would curl up into a ball, he would hold her until she fell asleep, even if he did have a big meeting in the morning and knew he couldn't act like shit.

He loved watching her sleep, but he loved her so much more.
