It was strange, but England, though he was the older country, always had a sense of security whenever America held him. It seems like the roles should b reversed; after all, it was England who raised America. Therefore it should be America that felt safe in England's arms. But it wasn't.

Although he liked it, England would always blush whenever he felt America's arm snake around his waist, or feel his breath on the back of his neck. Early in their relationship, England would struggle against him-and lose- but after a while, he stopped resisting and just allowed America to hold him, enjoying every second of it.

And secretly, he would always wish for America to hold him just a little tighter, and to never let go.
