Ancient

My days of youth are over,

My powers all worn out.

I watch with ancient envy,

As the younglings fly about.

...

I follow Warfang's accords,

In autumn and spring.

And in summer and in winter,

As time runs another ring.

...

While this world's still full of wonder,

There's little to amaze.

My story's coming to an end,

I've reached the final page.

...

I've seen my share of lasting peace,

As well as lasting war.

But now all I can do is wait,

To join those who came before.
