Suppress what you feel long enough, and you know longer know what to think, what to say, because you're not sure who you really are.
Push away your true thoughts time after time, and eventually you loose yourself to the web of lies you're spinning.
Be Good for too long, and try to be Good too hard, and you've lost what it means to be Real. You're a plastic person with a plastic personality and a plastic smile, just like a million other humans trying to change what they are,
You see what your problem is, Hinata? You've tried to be Good. You've listened to what they said. Your teachers said be sweet and obedient. Your family said be shy and let others protect you. Your friends said stay back, we'll fight this fight. Sit and admire your nails.
You listened. You didn't try to fight back, Hinata. You should have fought. You're a shinobi, a warrior. Yes, you're naturally shy and sweet and good, but you're not Good. You're not perfect – no one can be liked by everyone.
I've seen you try when no one is watching. You practice your moves until your hair sticks to your face from sweat and your muscles scream at you every time you move. You twirl and cut at the air, at the log, at the tree, poke and punch a thousand holes into it, dance and leap and channel so much chakra, but it never does any good.
Maybe you have the potential to be strong, or maybe you're just a princess that everyone locks up and dies protecting, a princess with a crown of gold on perfect indigo hair and sad silver eyes, eyes that say, I wish I was that strong. I wish I could fight. I wish I could die protecting someone I care about.
Many people have tried to be Good, Hinata Hyuga. It's not just you – there are a billion and two people trying to fake it, that they're not who they really are. But they eventually fought through what they thought other people wanted from them and what other people were really saying.
You're got skills. You're a Hyuga. You're a ninja, a warrior for the weak and defenseless. You've got a pretty face – use it! Beauty is a deadly weapon, Hinata. Use it to draw in men and then ruin them, leave them crying and choking on your dust and wondering what just happened. Use your moves, your stealth in battle to kill the enemy. Get behind them and make their world fade away before they know what's happened.
You don't like to kill, you say?
Too bad. The ninja world is not a easy one to live in. It's kill or be killed, and even if you spare someone's life now, who's to say they will do you the same favor in the future? Life is cruel, you know. You have no idea how sharp her blows can really be.
Stop being Good and just be good. Be the ninja you want to be. Forget what they say about you, Hinata. Their words mean only to hurt. You're better then they are, and you should flaunt that.
Be the storm, Hinata Hyuga. No one will ever see you coming.
At least until it's too late to stop you.
Author's Note
It's like someone evil trying to tempt Hinata into becoming a mass murderer. I have no clue what I was thinking.
