Told from the point of view of Ivan. Nyee, the idea came to me at midnight, so I typed up the first two paragraphs so that I wouldn't forget. Then I continued it with just five more paragraphs. ||u.u I don't plan on doing any more like this, but I suppose if the inspiration presents itself to me, I'd have to act upon it, yes? ; w ;

When I acquired my little Latvia, he insisted on bringing a music box with him to my- to our home, claiming that it would help him sleep. Each night, he winds it up as far back as it will go and each night, we both listen to it.

Raivis' room is right next to mine, considering that he is my favourite little Baltic. Maybe one day we will have the same room and the same bed? But for right now, listening to his music box as he does is as close as I can get to that.

I once went into his room while he was asleep and the music box was still playing. He's a really heavy sleeper, I wonder if he knows that? He'll make a mistake one day because of that…

When I went into his room, I sat on the end of his bed and watched him sleep. His face was like an angel's. My little Raivis looked peaceful. His face was free from the fear that normally consumes it.

I couldn't hold myself back. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't stop myself. I ran my hand through his golden locks and wrapped them around my fingers. His hair was really soft. I pulled my face closer to his, closer to my dear, dear Raivis. And then I kissed him.

Raivis never knew. He probably will never know. But for now, that's okay. I'll just have to wait, yes? I'll wait for him.

And for now, listening to his music box at night at the same time as him is close enough for me.
