Save Me

Dr. Madden looks up as Diana walks into his office. At least, he thinks it's Diana. It's sort of hard to tell with the long, black wig and dark sunglasses, but who else would wear a disguise when going to visit their doctor?

"Hello, Diana," the doctor says coolly.

Diana sighs. "You recognized me?"

"Yes. What's this about?" He lifts a lock of the fake black hair.

"I…I don't want Sweeney Todd to kill me!" Diana bursts into tears as she says this.

"Diana, Sweeney Todd is a fictional movie. No one is going to kill you." Dr. Madden still doesn't understand how the wig and sunglasses would protect her from getting killed, but he decides not to focus on that.

"I don't want to be a meat pie!" Diana is still sobbing. "I'd taste bad! Save me, Dr. Madden! Save me from the Demon Barber of Fleet Street!"

Dr. Madden sighs. This is one of those times when it's just easier to agree with Diana. "Okay, Diana. I'll save you from being made into a meat pie!"

"Yay!" Diana's mood brightens suddenly, and she leans closer to Dr. Madden and grins. "You're my hero!"

"I'm…glad to hear that. Now, shall we move on?"

Diana ignores him. "I wonder what a Dr. Madden meat pie would taste like…"
