You feel a pair of strong arms wrap around your slim waist and long, lanky legs situate themselves on either side of your own. Warm breath tickles your ear and you feel your lips slide over your teeth to form a smile.
"You know, when I said Accio hottie, I didn't expect it to work," you hear the person behind you whisper in your ear.
"I missed you," you say. "And your cheesy chat-up lines."
The person behind you chuckles. "I missed you, too, Lily flower. You're just going to have to come with me for Easter holiday, since I simply can't stand to be away from you."
You raise your gaze to meet the soft hazel eyes of your boyfriend, James Potter. "Shut up," you tease him.
"You think I'm kidding!" he challenges. You nod and he scoffs. "Shows what you know. Talk to Sirius, he'll tell you. He got the worst of my complaints about your absence."
"Oh, I bet he was thrilled about that," you retort. "He's probably been planning ways to harm me because of it."
"Nah, he loves you," James tells you. "But not nearly as much as I do."
You smile and twist in his arms to plant a chaste kiss upon his lips. "I love you, too."
A/N: Written for .'s "Pick-Up Line Challenge" on HPFC. It's rather drabblish, mostly because I was experimenting with present tense and second person narrative. Heaps of 'you's, which bothered me... so you shouldn't be expecting another second person narrative. ¡VIVA ESPAÑA! I'm on an emotional high from Spain's win, so I'm tackling all my challenges, stay tuned for more! Let me know what you think, whether you liked the second person approach, how you feel about the World Cup final, who your favorite person in the entire world is, anything! Right now, Andrés Iniesta is ranked pretty high on the "My Favorite Person" list. :)
Much love, Sadie
