Everyone had always seen Yusei calm and collected, even when danger stared down at him. Security never fazed him. His strange fate hadn't rattled him. Dark Signers couldn't break that nonchalant expression on the holder of the dragon head. But, that didn't mean it's never been disturbed…this is the recollection of the time lost his cool.
The raven-haired eighteen-year-old awoke in his bed. Lethargic from the sleep, he glanced at the alarm clock resting besides his bed. 2:20 pm, the clock read. Yusei had gone to sleep late that night. His repair work taken him longer than expected, forcing the duelist to be up until dawn. He was so tired he had fallen asleep in his soiled, grease-stained clothes.
Muffled voices came from the next room over. Burglars? No, he recognized them as his fellow Signers and Rua. Why were they here? The effects of sleepiness began to lessen and he remembered a conversation he had yesterday. They were supposed to get together for a practice duel today. Silently he hurried to dress himself. Opening the door, with boots in hand, Yusei was about to apologize when the source of his bad day struck.
A bucket of water dumped itself onto his head. Surprised and bewildered, the duelist stumbled. His soaked sock-covered feet then slipped on a banana peel placed in a typical comedic way. The guy's footing was lost as he fell backwards. The bucket collided with the ground, magnifying the impact while his feet ran into his metal tool chest.
"Sh**!"' he called in pain from his headache and the throbbing from his foot. "Godd***mit that freakin' hurts!"
A collective gasp came from the surroundings as the bucket fell from the raven-haired teenager's head. Their friend had just swore. Yusei never cursed. However, the unlucky onslaught only continued as blue spheres could only widened at his doom. A precariously perched tool box leaned off the edge of the chest. It tipped forward, and to the place all guys needed to protect should they want children.
A howl cried before string of curses escaped the King of Turbo Dueling's lips. None of the Signers were aware the normally stoic teen knew so many swear words. So many, Akiza and Jack cupped their hands over the two youngest members' ears.
That night, Yusei, covered with ice packs flipped through the TV channels, since he couldn't repair anything. Crow apologized, admitting he dumped the water and left the banana peel, because he hadn't expected his prank to go that far. The warrior and sychron deck user was both too injured and tired to be angry so he forgave his childhood friend. He paused on a channel when he glimpsed at footage of himself. Today. Of his embarrassing moment.
The sapphire-eyed guy could only gape before groaning. Crow would suffer a horrible day tomorrow but for today this really was a bad day for Yusei.
Nyehehehe, this was complete randomness I came up with along with my cousin (and my little sister cause she's annoying me). We talked about how Yusei virtually never curses and almost never lose his cool. So why not make him lose it just once?
Read and Review, but you plan to flame don't bother.
