It turned out to be me 2 most popular ff:D

Nearly two months have passed since their farewell and Harry began to feel disappointed and hopeless. He had received exactly 2 postcards - the first one had come from Paris, less than a week after her departure with an image of the Eiffel Tower adorned with colorful ribbons and a short message: It's spring in Paris, and the second had been owled two weeks later with an image of a small chalet in the Swiss Alps with a note: " Chocolate and champagne are the biggest of the guilty pleasures, but if you commit a sin this is the best place to do it." Both of them had been signed simply Pansy and he placed them on the table by his bed with a small dried flower. He has been tempted to follow her, but she had asked him for some time. But when silence ensued after the second card, he concluded that it was time to call for reinforcements and assistance, he became anxious, slowly losing hope.

"Harry, there is only one thing I managed to get out of Draco and believe me, it was not easy. Those devilish Slytherin know how to evade the answer," Hermione said, raising a cup to her mouth to hide the blush when she recalled exactly how Draco had decided to distract her "I established that she is safe, in Europe and that she is better, much better."

"She was in Paris and then in Switzerland, I know it." Harry was tripping over the words "The point is, do you know if she' ll be coming back?"

Hermione stared at him with sympathy. The past several months, spent first on the pursuit of the murderer, and then the horror of the killer's turning out to be Fred, clearly exhausted him. Perhaps the worst part of it was that of those who were once closest to him, only Draco and her remained.

Weasleys understood that what Fred had done was terrible and that he had earned his punishment, however still, it was Harry who had arrested him, it was Harry who had applied for his life's confinement and that although unwillingly, put a strain on their relationship.

"When Harry, when, not if, because I know she will return," she assured him and suddenly screamed loudly.

Harry's eyes winded in shock when Hermione bowed in half.

"Hermione?!" he screamed terrified, but when he saw a water coming out of her robe, he instantly realized what was happening. His godson was about to be born.

"You're avoiding the confrontation in the most cowardly way" Draco remarked while sitting comfortably in the chair and stretching his long legs in front of him.

The chalet in the middle of nowhere was a really cozy, ideal place for a romantic getaway. Maybe when the baby would be born he could visit it with Hermione?

"I have no idea what the hell are you talking about!" Pansy snorted getting more comfortable in her armchair and pulling a sip of wine from a glass held in her hand.

" Rather, about who, my dear, a certain black-haired fool who is just now bothering my precious wife with inquiries about you."

Pansy cursed, "Fuck off Draco!"

She threw a wine cork at him, but Draco dodged the blow.

"That was very mature" he commented, to which Pansy responded with a snort.

"Pansy, hey it's me, you can stop pretending, it doesn't work on me." Draco was leaning forward with his hands on his knees. " We've known each other since childhood, what's the matter? I figured maybe this fool could bring you happiness, you seemed to enjoy him. So what's going on, is it about Greg?"

" Stop trying to psychoanalyze me, you suck at it. Greg died, he died a long time ago, as we both know it, and that fool, well" she shrugged her shoulders staring into her glass and playing with an amethyst necklace hanging around her neck "I invited him here, but he never made use of it, so there's nothing to talk about"

"Wait!" Draco's brows rose in surprise. "You invited him? Here? And he failed to show up?! WHEN?! That bastard's is so dead!"

"I owled him a card with a photo of this place and a suggestion about drinking champagne, the only thing he had to do was to use the portal concealed in it, something he failed to do, ergo he is not interested at all"

" So did you invite him outright, or did you make a veiled proposition?" Draco was digging.

" Draco! What are you thinking of me?! A lady have to have some dignity! I suggested it!"

Draco laughed. "Oh, Pansy! We're talking about Potter here! He can't detect a allusion or ambiguity even when they hit him on the head!"

"You think..."

Any further conversation was interrupted by the unexpected appearance of Narcissa's head in the fireplace.

" Draco! Hurry up! Hermione is in labor!"

It's been three hours since Hermione has disappeared behind the door of the maternity ward and the expression on the healers' faces didn't promise anything good. At first nothing seemed to indicate any difficulties, but now they were disputing about how to carry out the birth in the best way so that neither the health of the mother nor the baby would be endangered. The wounds Hermione had sustained during the battle did not make their task any easier, and none of them understood the method that Pansy had developed especially for Hermione.

Draco roared at everyone, Narcissa cried in the arms of Remus, who appeared at the hospital as soon as he was called, and he, Harry Potter, could only stand there completely helpless. By all signs in heaven and earth, Hermione and her child were in need of a miracle.

"What's happening here on Merlin's beard ?!" Pansy Parkinson Goyle stormed into the maternity ward lobby, her new fashionable dressing robe fluttering nehind her and leaving no doubt about her view of the healers and medwitches who were running all around "I left you alone for less than 2 months and immediately a disaster?! It's just a simple labor for Merlin's sake!"

Harry couldn't stop grinning, his legs took him to her in seconds.

"You came back," he said stupidly looking at her with an amazed look, drinking her in. She looked a lot better than 2 months ago, he could see in her eyes that little sparkle of irony, her lips were smiling, and on her smooth neck was a pendant he had given her.

"Harry Potter, the master of stating the obvious," she joked.

"I've missed you" he spilled deciding he couldn't let her go a second time, the last 2 months have taught him that at the very least. "I've missed you more than I thought possible."

"I missed you too, Harry, but it was you who didn't accept my invitation." she noted with a slight rebuke

Harry took a step forward and looked at her mouth. They were so close, he almost felt her breath on his lips. All he had to do was make that last move, and he would finally know what she tasted like.

"Not that I want to disrupt this touching greeting, because Potter has been a miserable bugger for the last 2 months and I'm very happy that I was right and I won't even tell you I told you so and I wish you the best and suchlike, and I promise to buy you the most expensive honeymoon trip in the world but right now, Pansy my dear, could you be so kind and move your healer's ass to the maternity chamber! My wife is giving birth and those idiots don't know what to do!" Draco's voice shattered their happy bubble to pieces and they're back in reality

Pansy laughed, "Sorry Harry's duties call, we'll talk later, okay?" She gently kissed him on the cheek and disappeared before Harry could even say a word.

Later. He thought, putting his hand to the cheek where he felt her lips. Later. But what invitation was she talking about?! She never invited him anywhere, did she?!

It turned out to be an almost four-hour wait filled with prayers and faith, but when Harry watched the happy Hermione cuddling her son in her arms, over whom Narcissa was chirping happily, he didn't consider the time wasted. He was looking at Draco, Hermione and their child and knew that this was what he wanted, it would be the fulfillment of his dreams: family, the wife, few kids and the friends surrounding them, family.

"Poor kid will have big shoes to fill: mother the brightest witch of her generation, father, from the most ancient family and savior of the wizarding world as godfather." Pansy walked into the room and stood right next to him staring at the same scene.

"And a brilliant healer as godmother" Harry grinned at her.

" Oh, well, just like I told you, giant shoes to fill."

"Pansy" Harry began, but she just smiled putting her finger on his lips.

"Shhh, now it's my turn, however, I suppose I have to speak straightforwardly since you don't understand the simplest allusions: I missed you more than I thought possible" she giggled at the sight of absolute admiration on his face and with a bold gesture reached for his hand intertwining their fingers. Harry looked at their entwined hands. They fitted together, they fitted together like no one else.

" Hey, godparents, come here, meet Gregory Blaise Malfoy!" Draco summoned them.

Pansy and Harry smiled at each other. They had all the time in the world, it was their new beginning. They approached the rest of their family, still holding hands and steadily ignoring the meaningful looks from their friends.
