Jake sat at his desk, Watching the clock. 'one hour left' he thought shuffling the already completed paperwork on his desk.

He noticed Luna Lovegood, his coworker, Fiddling with a broken necklace. He leaned over to her.

"Luna, May I ask why your bothering with that broken necklace?" He said curiously.

Jake was used to her strange behavior, but Curiosity always won him.

"It's not broken Jake," She said in her dreamy voice, "It's merely imperfect." She said as she put the necklace on.

"Why would you wear it then?" He asked. He remembered his mother throwing away necklaces with kinks that couldn't be fixed.

He watched as she tied the ends of the necklace together.

"Tell me Jake, Would you like me if I were 'imperfect'"

Jake was caught of guard by this question for two reasons.

Luna knew he liked her.

She knew he thought of her as Perfect.

"I-Y-Ye-Yes." He stuttered.

She smiled. "I'm glad. Because everyone's imperfect. And I like you to Jake."

*********************1 Year later************************

Jake sighed as their meal came. He was currently on a date with Luna Lovegood, And about to propose.

He smiled as he took in her appearance.

She wore her 'imperfect' Necklace and A Soft blue sun dress. Her hair cascaded down her back in a way that made her seem perfect.

Jake smiled at that word. Perfect.

All nervousness gone, he cleared his throat loudly.

"Can I have everyone's attention please?" He looked to the back where Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, and George were sitting.

"Luna, One year ago, I asked you why you were bothering with a broken necklace. And you said it was not broken but merely imperfect. I asked you why you would wear it, and you asked If I'd like you, even if you were imperfect. When I said yes, you told me everyone's Imperfect Well, your right and I Know your as close to perfect I'll ever get, Luna, My Imperfect angel, Marry me?" He said confidently, down on one knee.

Despite all the eyes on him and Luna, he wasn't nervous.

"Yes. I will marry you!" Jake slid the ring on her finger, while everyone cheered. He kissed her softly.

***********************a few weeks later************

"Luna your perfect!" Jake said suddenly.

"We're all imperfect Jake, I have my imperfections." Luna said smiling.

"That's it. Your imperfections are what make you perfect." He said triumphantly.

Luna's eyes widened. "I've never thought of it that way. But that makes sense. Because then you'd be perfect to, and so would everyone else."

Jake smiled smugly. He knew he could do it. He had finally convinced Luna Lovegood she was perfect.
