Scorpius smirked, and straightened his school tie before leaving the Slytherin common rooms and heading down to the Great Hall for breakfast. As he sauntered, smooth and dangerous as a snake down the hall people cleared out of his way. He was a seventh year, the Prince of Slytherin like his father before him. He was so used to people clearing the halls for him now he didn't pay attention to it anymore. Nor did he notice that one person didn't steer out of his way and they ended up colliding.

"Oomph!" A familiar voice cried out as they both tumbled in a pile of limbs, books, and supplies for class, "Malfoy, what in the world is wrong with you. Watch where you're going."

"You're one to talk Weasley." Scorpius teasingly replied with amusement. It was the Princess of Gryffindor herself, the lucky object of his affections. He stood up and offered her his hand but she just knocked it out of the way and stood up by herself.

"You know, I bet no one would even care if I killed you right now." She practically hissed at him, you think the little lioness would be more likely to roar.

"But I would care."

"You don't count." she retorted.

"Well, you would care if you killed me Rose."

"I would be happy you mean."

"I think not! If you killed me then I couldn't do this!" Scorpius leaned down and kissed her passionatly.

SMACK!

Rose stalked off after grabbing her stuff all the while trying to hide her blush. Scorpius on the other hand, stood in the hall rubbing his cheek.

"She definitely loves me."
