Test

When Natalie's being totally honest with herself (which isn't often), she knows the reason she does the whole clubs-and-drugs thing isn't the same reason she likes to make herself believe.

It's not because she's under stress.

It's not because she wants to get back at her parents.

It's to test Henry, to see if he stays.

Every night, when she goes out, messes up her systems with the drugs, gets involved with some guy, Henry comes to rescue her.

She needs to make sure that he still cares about her every night, that he doesn't ignore her like certain family members of hers.

And every night, when he finds her and lectures her, she knows he loves her.

Until the next night, when she's not sure anymore.

And so the cycle continues. Natalie goes out, and Henry brings her back.

It continues on and on and on.

Until one day, Henry never shows up.
