Read and review- this is set where Nathan is painting the blue walls of his and Sammy's room pink for little Ruby.

Love Rhyleigh xoxox

There were so many memories in that bedroom.

Blue walls, robot murals and old Star Wars posters from his childhood days. Up until they had officially moved in, there were still bunk beds.

They had talked about so much in that room- their future, laying there in the darkness, whether or not they would ever move out of the Rafter home, as Nathan traced patterns on his wife's arm. They had been madly in love, and had gotten married so young.

Maybe it wasn't the right thing to do. Maybe if they had waited, they would have matured and things would have been easier for everyone.

The bedroom they shared had always been the 'baby's room'. Rachel had slept in it, residing in the tiny little cot, as had Ben. But they moved out, to their respective rooms. Nathan was the baby for twenty two years, and the room had stayed his. The photos of him and his wife that decorated the walls, the linen that they had chosen together. the pillows that they had fought with, laughing hysterically the whole time.

For their first anniversary, they had eaten in that bedroom. Fish and chips, straight out of the paper, drinking red wine from plastic goblets. They had never been any more in love...

But things had gone downhill from there.

And that brought him to where he was standing.

That room held too many memories for him. Too many memories of him and Sammy, where they resided in their own little worlds.

The pink paint that was being rolled onto the walls was a nice distraction from the memories...

And yet they brought them all flooding back.
