Prologue

Carlisle, Esme, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett, Edward and I were all seated around the dining room table. In the center of the table was a huge turkey. Today was Christmas, and I was spending it with a happy go lucky mood. The love of my life was sitting next to me, my brother, Emmett, sitting 2 chairs down next to the love of his life Rosalie, Alice and Jasper hand in hand on the other side of the table, next to my new mother and father figures, Carlisle and Esme.

My life can't get any better than this. No more Renee and Phil, no more Cinderella treatment, no more night of going to bed hungry and alone.

I have my life back on track and I never want to leave. Edward gently kissed the back of my hand as we continued to eat our Christmas dinner. The Cullen house is currently overwhelmed by the smell of delicious turkey. Since it was our first Christmas as a family, we let Carlisle and Esme and the rest of the family sleep in while Edward and I -with the occasional joke from Emmett- cooked a feast for everyone.

After many 'thank-you's' and 'Merry Christmas', we were finally settled at the table digging in.

Forty five minutes later, everyone was finish feating, the food long gone, the table and dishes were practically licked clean. It was time to gather around the grand Christmas tree.

Carlisle and Esme went first. Each of us had a little box placed in our hands, opening it up we found out it was car keys, revealing to us that we have a new car. Many hugs were given and paper-flying-presents flew by, soon all the gifts were open -except one.

The family had gone to see their new cars, abandoning Edward and I. I was about to get up when Edward grabbed my wrist. He glanced around the room nervously, before proceeding to get down on one knee. He stated up into my dark brown eyes, and asked "Bella, will you..."

Cold water splashed on my face as I my tired eyes shot open.

"Bella will you wake up already!" Edward yelled.

I knew at that moment that I was back in the same room I've been for the past month.

Welcome to my life.
