DISCLAIMER: I do not own any Naruto material such as Gaara. Masashi Kishimoto does.
This is a one-shot but depending on how people like it , I will make it into a short story!
I looked in his eyes deeply. They didn't just have anger in them, they also had loneliness. I had a feeling and desire to take him and hug him, but he had other plans.
"Gaara, you're not a monster." I said to him as the sand started to wrap around my body. He just stared with an emotionless face.
I felt the sand get tighter, but he wasn't making my death fast like he normally would. Why? Did he hate me so much that he had to make it painful?
My head started to go light from not breathing right. Then a couple of seconds my sight went blurry. It was so painful, my ribs were being crushed. I hope he just would kill me.
Then all of a sudden, he released me from his sand. My head still hurt like hell, but my eyesight was fine.
I looked were I could see Gaara, and he moved closer to me. When he was close enough, he kneeled down. I felt him touch my locket that my parents gave me before going on that mission that they died on.
I loved that locket with all my heart.
He was caressing it and opening it, then closing it.
"Do you like it?" I gave him a slight smile. "My parents gave it to me."
"Can I have it?" I looked at him really surprised because that's the first thing he has ever said to me the whole time we were out here.
"Gaara, I really can't gi-"
"I'll give you this." He pulled out a cute red teddy bear. I had a ribbon tied around it's neck in a bow. He handed it to me and I took it.
"Gaara I will give you this, but you have to be mine." He was surprised that someone actually wanted him like that.
I took the locket and gave it to Gaara and he hung it around his neck. Gaara hid it around his clothing.
When I wasn't watching he took my head and kissed my forehead.
"I love you." I just looked at him and smiled.
I was happy because I'm pretty sure that was the first time he ever said that to anyone.
