Amy's fingers itched to grab for her computer, but she knew she wouldn't be able to finding anything. She had been trying for the last few days and still nothing... "I wonder what it all means..." She mumbled to herself, but it was loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.
"I haven't the slightest clue, but I'm gonna find out." Serena said as she got up and went about collecting her stuff. "Now where did I put my bag..." She thought to herself as she let her eyes scan the room.
"Do you think Luna would know anything, Serena...?" Lita asked; having not moved from the spot next to Nick, who had fallen asleep soon after Raye had started to debrief them on what she saw in her vision(s). Serena shrugged and then smiled when she spotted her bag leaning against the wall and walked over and scooped it up.
"I don't know," She said as she set the strap on her shoulder. "maybe, I hope." She finished off and then turned to her friends.
"All right I'm gonna head home and talk with Luna," She said. "I'll let you know if she's got anything new to add." She said and then they said their goodbyes and Serena walked outside; the sun had risen and the warmth was a welcome friend.
A few hours had past and Jeremy still couldn't figure out what he saw in Marc's eyes. "It wasn't human I know that much..." He thought to himself and then wanted to slap himself. "Of course it was human you idiot," He thought as he paced his 'room' slowly; having been still sore from the fight from last night. "I mean when have you ever seen something human that gave you such a great amount of fear..." He let out a sigh and walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge.
"I've got to find a way out of here," He muttered under his breath. "I can't stay here. I don't know how, or when I'll turn into whatever Marc is..." Jeremy looked around the room for anything he could use for a weapon, or someway out. His strength was still drained from the fight and he didn't know when they would regenerate back to full power. He didn't know how long he racked his brain for, but he still couldn't figure out how to get out of this little predicament...
"There isn't a way," A voice said from the front of the room by the door. Jeremy leaped up from the bed and stood at the ready. "just thought you should know." The voice finished; the voice rumbling with laughter.
"Who are you," He said the light from the lamp on the nightstand only reaching so far. "are you the one that Nick and I fought...?" He questioned; his question got a laugh from whoever was standing just out of the light.
"No, I am not she," The voice said. "I'm her sister pair of sorts," She said and then as the door opened light filled the doorway and he got a look at who the owner of the voice was. She stood at about the same height of her sister and her outfit was the same, but the colors were different. Instead of green and black, Chikara's colors were different; dark blue and gray. And instead of a ribbon on her forehead hers was wrapped around a impressive bicep and it had the kanji symbol for strength. "I believe your kind has a term for it; a twin." She said with a savage smile as if the mere word left a bad taste in her mouth.
"I will leave you to your futile planning," She said and gave a hardy laugh. "because there is no way you are leaving here in one piece..." She said and then left the room; slamming the door closed. After speaking with the Youma, even for such a short time, he knew that she was right... He wouldn't be able to leave of his own will; he would need some help, but who would be crazy enough to help him in such a situation...?
Nick woke slowly, his ears full of the chattering voices of Lita and her friends. "I do not hear the princess though..." He thought to himself and then he gave a grunt as he tried to sit up.
"Oh your up," Lita started to say and then she let out a gasp as she rushed over to help him. "be careful we don't want any of your injuries to get worse..." She said. Nick let out a weak laugh.
"If sitting up makes them any worse then I should just die right now..." He said and when he was finally sitting up and a pillow behind his back he saw that the princess was not among them anymore.
"Where did her highness go...?" He asked. The girls all shared a look and then looked back to him.
"How did you know that Serena's the princess...?" Mina asked with a suspicious look on her face. Nick blinked in confusion and then he chuckled.
"Well I do have some of my memories from back then," He said. "so I remember what the princess looks like..." He said. That got a small laugh from the group of girls.
"Of course," Lita said and then gave Mina a hard look. "we're just a little freaked out with all that is happening." She said and Nick nodded.
"Of course." He said simply and then looked around at the lot of them.
"So what's the plan?" He asked. Everyone looked to Amy and she blinked and then laugh and pointed at herself.
"Why are you looking at me," She said. "I haven't received enough information to figure out who we are fighting," She said. "let alone make a plan of attack." She said. It was a lot to take in Nick knew that, but they would have to come up with some sort of plan in order to save Jeremy; he could careless about saving Marc at this point...
Serena arrived home to find her father pacing the living room and her mother sitting on the couch with worry. "Where could she be," Ikuko said to her husband. "she's always calls when she's staying at a friends house..." She said. Kenji let out a scoff and then turned just as Serena entered the living room.
"Oh I don't know," He said just as he was turning. "all I know is that- Serena!" He said and then rushed over to her and pulled her into a tight hug. Ikuko jumped up and rushed over as well.
"Sweetie your home!" She said a smile of pure relief appeared on her face. The hug only lasted a few seconds before Kenji pulled back and he had a look of anger to him.
"Where in the hell have you been?!" He shouted. Serena thought about it and then realized that she had never called them to let them know that she was staying at Raye's house.
"I stayed over at Raye's house," She said. "sorry I forgot to call." She said. Ikuko let out a sigh and set a calming hand on her husband's shoulder.
"I understand, but you should have remembered to call, Serena. Your not a little kid anymore," She said. "your father and I were up all night worrying about you. We thought something happened to you..." She said. Kenji whole face was red, but he didn't utter a word because he knew if he did...well it wouldn't have been good.
"I'm sorry," She said. "I'll remember to call next time; promise." She said. Ikuko nodded and set her other hand on Kenji's other shoulder and started to pull him back.
"That's all we ask." She said and then motioned for Serena to head upstairs.
"Now you go upstairs," She said. "I need to speak with your father." She said. Serena nodded and then walked upstairs and into the room to find Luna laying on the bed asleep.
"There you are," Serena said as she walked into the room and set her bag down. "why didn't you show up at the shrine...?" She asked. Luna opened one eye and then stretched; a yawn escaping from her.
"I only just got home," She said. "it took longer then I thought it was going to..." She said. Serena walked over and sat down next to the cat and she let out a sigh.
"Yeah well get ready because boy do I have a story to tell you..." She said and then she started to tell her all that had developed in the short time she had been gone doing...
