A/N: I have been re-writing the stories first two chapters over the past few months in free time (The reason this hasn't been updated in ages I because I forgot this email and thought I'd lost this account forever (I actually cried) and I only managed to recover it recently). I noticed in some reviews people have been saying how Percy would be reading teenage vampire romance novels and loving them XD I feel so stupid LOL I've made PJ into a girly guy XD That's changing don't worry haha
Also this will have some fluffy Percabeth moments in it but that will be on the side, this isn't really a romance fanfic but when there is the opportunity for Percabeth I can't resist, they're just so cute ^.^

A/N 2: BECAUSE I BEGAN WRITING THIS BEFORE THE HEROES OF OLYMPUS THIS WILL BE IN AN AU WHERE THE SECOND PROPHECY DOESN'T HAPPEN

Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson or Twilight. No copyright infringement intended!

Chapter 1 – The Parcel

Chapter 1 – The Parcel

It was just another normal day at Camp Half-Blood. The sun was shining brightly in the sky, some demigods were training, some were socialising, some were working, some were hanging in their cabins.

Perseus Jackson, demigod of Poseidon, was walking on the beach. Every now and then he would stop and look out at the water and then wave his hand, causing a spurt of water to shoot in the air.

Everything was going very normally until something came flying vertically down towards his head. His hand automatically automatically flew into his pocket and uncapped riptide.

The flat of the blade collided with the object and it went flying towards the ground and skidded two feet through the sand before coming to a stop.

Percy cautiously walked towards the object and as he got closer he realised it was a parcel.

He warily prodded it with the tip of his sword before curiosity got the better of him and he picked it up.

He separated the envelope from the parcel and saw it was addressed to him.

Perseus Jackson,

There are many secrets in this world that you are unaware of but the Greek gods are aware of, but there is a secret even hidden from the Greek gods. This parcel contains a set of four books, which I have gotten translated into Ancient Greek so you can read these more easily. The secret is hidden within these. However, let me warn you, after you learn this secret your life will be in danger.

Someone related to these stories.

PS: Beware the Volturi.

A picture was folded into the envelope of three pale men with long hair and gleaming read eyes. A shiver ran down his spine as a voice whispered 'vampire,' a breeze brushed across the back of his neck as if someone was stood behind him, whispering.

He whipped around, raising riptide but the beach was totally deserted.

He shook his head, quickly folding the photo back up and shoving it into the envelope alongside the letter.

He picked the wrapped parcel from where he had dropped it on the floor and rushed back to his cabin.

He ripped the parcel open to see a plain looking, black box set which had "The Twilight Saga" and "Stephanie Meyer" written on the side of it.

He pulled the books out of the box and spread them out on the bed.

The covers were almost completely black apart from the titles but each had a single picture in the center of the book.

The first one, Twilight, had an apple cupped in the palms of two hands, the second, New Moon, had a flower with red tinges on the edges of the white petals, Eclispe had a red ribbon on it and Breaking Dawn had chess pieces on it.

He cringed. They looked like the sort of books teenage girls read with romance and fluff and things he wouldn't go near even if he did read books.

Sighing he picked up the first book and opened it.

The first chapters were incredibly boring to Percy and he skimmed through. Bella moved, started school and it was part way through her first day when he started to read part of it properly. As Bella described the five students sat at the lunch table his eyes were drawn to particular words.

chalky pale

dark shadows under those eyes — purplish, bruiselike shadows

though their noses, all their features, were straight, perfect, angular.

devastatingly, inhumanly beautiful

the small girl rose with her tray — unopened soda, unbitten apple — and walked away with a quick, graceful lope

glided through the back door, faster than I would have thought possible

Percy continued to skim through the first book, paying close attention the parts where the inhuman vampire qualities were mentioned in the book, committing these things to memory.

By the time dinner came about he had reached the part where they were having a baseball match and realised it was time for dinner.

If it hadn't been for the letter he would have never believed that these vampire were real, especially not these ones Vampires that sparkle in the sun... Who would have thought?

He wandered towards the dining pavilion and didn't realise that Annabeth had joined him until she poked him, hard, in the side and yelled, "SEAWEED BRAIN!"

He jumped turning his side to look at her, "What?"

"I've been calling your name for the past five minutes! What are you thinking so hard about?" She looked at him with an expression between confusion, concern and annoyance.

"I have something I need to show you," he said, gently grabbing her wrist and turning to go towards the Poseidon cabin.

Annabeth let her self be dragged along, her confusion growing, "Percy? Where are we going?"

"There's something I need to show you."

They reached the Poseidon cabin and Annabeth paused in the doorway as Percy walked in to grab the letter from the table beside his bed.

He handed her the letter and as she read through it her eyes widened. She unfolded the picture of the Volturi and a shiver ran down her spine, the colour draining from her face.

"What are the books the letter speaks of?"

"Er... Well they're inside... I'm reading them..."

She stared at me for a second before throwing her head back and laughing. I cracked a smile as a silly grin crossed her face, he eyes sparkling as she said, "I never thought I'd live to see the day when you read a book."

A faint tinge of red crossed his cheeks, "Well they're in Ancient Greek so..." He shrugged, turning to grab the book he was in the middle of reading off the bed. "Here."

Her eyes scanned the back cover and she cracked up again, "You're reading a teen vampire romance novel, of all the genres in the world."

She was doubled over clutching her stomach and his cheeks glowed red.

"Oh shut it Wise Girl, I have a reason to."

She stopped laughing but a faint smile stayed on her lips, "I can't believe you are actually reading it though, I would've expected you to stop."

He shrugged again, "Eh they're not that bad. Some parts are awful but they actually provide a lot of information on..." his voice dropped to a whisper, "the volturi," they both shivered, "and vampires."

"Do you think the letter is genuine?"

A grave expression crossed his face which Annabeth found unusual as Percy was usually a very non serious, jolly, easy going person, "Yes. I have a very strong feeling, A very very bad feeling but I'm certain these are real." He sighed before smiling softly at her, "Get some rest. We'll discuss the book in the morning and I'll give you the first one to read."

She smiled back, "Good Night Seaweed Brain."

"Night Wise Girl."

She walked back to her cabin, lost in thoughts of what she just been told as Percy opened the books in his hands, continuing to read as he flopped down on his bed.

It wasn't until a lot later they realised they had missed dinner.

Percy finished the first book and started on the second. He was actually getting quite into them although he wouldn't go as far to say he liked them. The information they provided on the species of Vampire that were said to be a mystery to everyone including the gods was rather interesting and he could tell it would definitely prove useful in the future.

He got up to the part where Edward left Bella and put the book down, feeling exhausted. Glancing at the clock he was shocked to see it was already 2 am.

Lying down he fell asleep almost instantly.

Percy was stood in a bright cavernous room, perfectly round like a huge castle turret. Two stories up, long slits threw thin rectangles of bright sunlight onto the stone floor below. There were no artificial lights. The only furniture in the room were several massive wooden chairs, like thrones that were spaced unevenly, flush with the curving stone walls. In the center of the room there was a drain.

There was a crowd of inhumanly beautiful people with pale skin and bright red eyes stood in a semi circle facing the three thrones in the room that were occupied.

The oldest looking dark haired person in the Volturi sat on the left, the blonde one on the right and the brown haired one in the middle.

"Master Aro. We have recieved information of humans that have discovered our secret in the US."

The one in the middle spoke, red eyes gleaming, "Dimitri, I want you to go and assess the situation."

A tall vampire stood to the side bowed, "Yes Master Aro, I shall leave right away."

He turned and was about to start moving when he froze.

The blonde haired vampire turned to look at him curiously as he closed his eyes.

"What is it Dimitri?"

All heads snapped to look at him at impossible speeds.

"I am unsure, Master Cauis."

Suddenly his eyes snapped open and they were looking directly into Percy's.

His eyes darkened as he lunged-

Percy shot up covered in cold sweat and shaking.

He jumped up, barely registering that it was 4:30am before rushing out onto the beach towards Annabeth's cabin.

He collided with a blur of blonde hair and they both tumbled to the ground, colliding heads.

Rubbing his head he sat up, realising it was none other than Annabeth that was sat beside him, also rubbing her forehead.

"You have a hard head," she gasped sounding out of breath.

"I have to tell you something." He said urgently.

Annabeth sat up straight, suddenly very solemn, "So do I."

A sinking feeling settled in Percy stomach. A feeling that told him things were going to get a lot worse.

A/N: So I hope y'all like the first chapter of Percy Jackson and Vampire Existence.

This chapter is quite different and much longer than the original chapters. This is probably because it had been over 2 years and my knowledge of writing and perhaps even my style of writing has changed since when I started writing this. I have also done a lot more writing than what I was doing when I started this and have done a lot more since this so I think my writing has improved but that could just be me.

Leave a review and tell me what you think. If you hate it, what do you hate about it? I'm always looking for things to improve and read all the reviews before writing this because I want to try and make this the best I can.
