A/N: So, I recently edited this story and, while doing so, I fell in love with the characters all over again. So, I decided to write an epilogue, even if it's been about five years since I last updated. A quick note to my old readers: I actually edited the entire fanfiction, so there are new scenes in it now. Feel free to reread and rediscover Seto and Téa's love just as I did while I was editing it. And now, without further ado, onto the story.

Disclaimer: If by now you haven't figured out that I don't own YuGiOh, then I don't know what to say.

Epilogue

Six Months Later:

Téa looked down at the rings and sighed longingly.

"Someone has marriage on her mind," Mai's singsongy voice said in her ear and Téa instantly chuckled.

"No," she shook her head. "I'm just admiring them."

However, from the look on her face, it was obvious that Mai didn't believe her.

"Has Kaiba given any hints that he might be proposing soon?" Serenity asked and Téa shook her head at once.

"No, we just started dating," she reminded them. "You don't get married after six months of dating."

"I don't know," Serenity shrugged. "Haven't you know him for almost 8 years now?"

"Yes, but we've only dated for six months of those 8 years," Téa chuckled.

"Forget that," Mai shook her head and looked at Téa. "Haven't you two technically been in love for thousands of years?"

Chuckling, Téa nodded and said, "Teana and Seto were lovers for thousands of years."

"But, aren't you Teana?" Mai asked and Téa gave a nod. "Exactly. If, after thousands of years, you two aren't getting married, then I don't know what to say for the rest of us."

Immediately, Téa knew that she was referring to Joey. As much as Mai might deny it, she was eagerly anticipating a proposal from Joey, who, of course, had absolutely no idea despite the fact that both Téa and Serenity had hinted it to him. Hell, even Mai had hinted it at one point as well.

Shrugging, Téa said, "I don't think Seto is looking to settle down right now. For now, it's enough for him that we're dating."

"More like it's a surprise that you're dating," Mai mumbled and Serenity giggled.

"He's not as bad as we previously thought," Téa pointed out but the two women simply stared at her as if she was sprouting nonsense. While her friends had all accepted that she was dating Kaiba as well as the whole Teana and Seto love story thing, they'd been more than confused as to why she was dating him. Because, they soon realized, Téa Gardner was in love with Seto Kaiba as well, and he reciprocated those feelings.

It was because of that and because they knew that she was happy that they, apart from some teasing every now and then, had wholeheartedly accepted it, even Joey.

Téa smiled to herself as she thought of the blond. When she'd finally spoken to him after the whole running away fiasco, he'd been more than confused. And furious at Kaiba, who he claimed had 'taken advantage of Téa's kindness.' Of course, when Téa had told him that she loved Kaiba and that Kaiba loved her, he'd been skeptical but had finally relented in the end when she'd explained to him what had happened in her previous life as Teana.

However, although he'd accepted that she and Kaiba were now together, he and Kaiba were nowhere close to being friends and she found herself constantly having to play mother and stop them from ripping each other's head off.

"Oh, this one is gorgeous!" Mai's excited squeal roused her from her thoughts and she moved to join the two women.

"That is beautiful," Téa said as she looked down at the ring. While it was indeed beautiful, it was much too flashy for her taste, but it suited Mai perfectly. She looked over and instantly gasped as her eyes fell on a particular ring.

It was a simple engagement ring laid with white diamonds and sapphires, the latter of which was somehow made to look like lapis lazuli. To her, it gave off an very Egyptian vibe and she found herself drawn to it.

"That one is stunning," she breathed as she pointed to the Egyptian ring.

"That seems to be a popular choice this week," the saleswoman said and Téa looked up at her.

"What?" she asked and the woman nodded.

"Two days ago, a young man came in and purchased the exact ring. A bit unusual in my opinion, but he seemed convinced that it was the perfect ring," the woman smiled before more customers came and she excused herself to go and help them.

Looking down at the ring, Téa chuckled to her friends, "I wonder who the lucky girl is," before the group turned and left the store to continue their shopping.

"Really?!" Mokuba exclaimed at his brother.

"Mokuba, calm down!" Kaiba hissed to his younger brother, who instantly placed his hand over his mouth.

"I'm just so excited, Seto," Mokuba half whispered and Kaiba chuckled at his brother's excited face. It seemed that Mokuba was much more excited about him proposing to Téa than he was.

"Well, I'll see you later," Mokuba suddenly said as he turned to leave. As he did, Kaiba reminded him, "not a word of this to her. Understood?"

"I have some control, Seto!" Mokuba shook his head before he turned and left the room.

Kaiba looked back down at the ring in his hand and smiled to himself. He'd bought the ring two days ago after toying with the idea for months.

Despite having only dated Téa for six months, he knew her soul inside and out. After all, according to Téa, their souls were linked to each other, which made them soulmates.

Then, two days ago, he'd finally made up his mind. He was going to ask her to marry him. He'd waited for thousands of years to be reunited with her and didn't want to waste any more time in making her his wife. After searching several stores, he'd finally stumbled across the perfect engagement ring.

It was a rather simple one laid with white diamonds and sapphires, the latter of which was somehow made to look like lapis lazuli. Overall, the ring had a very Egyptian vibe and, to him, it seemed perfect.

Now, he just had to find the perfect time to ask her to be his wife. Her birthday was in three days and he was planning on taking her out to dinner. It seemed like the perfect day to do it.

"Téa!" Mokuba called out to her and she turned, shooting the younger Kaiba a smile.

"Hey Mokie, what's up?" she asked as he hugged her.

"I have some exciting news!" he exclaimed, shooting her a wide smile.

"Really? What? Does it have anything do with a girl?" she asked and he quickly shook his head.

"No, you know I'm enjoying the single life," he replied, to which she rolled her eyes slightly.

"Then what is it?" she asked, now curious.

"I can't tell you!" he smiled at her and she gave him a puzzled look.

"Why can't you tell me?" she asked, to which he smiled and replied, "because it's a secret."

Secret? What could he be talking about? Was there anything important happening soon?

Seto's birthday wasn't for another two months and Mokuba's birthday was the month before.

Suddenly, her eyes widened as she remembered that her 23rd birthday was in a few days. Did he have something planned for her?

Looking at the 20 year old, she narrowed her eyes but he simply smiled up at her.

"Not gonna work this time," he said before he turned and began to walk away.

"Give me a hint at least!" she said as she followed behind him. "I mean, it's not fair that you pique my curiosity and then just leave me."

"Nope, no hints," Mokuba shook his head and she sighed.

"If I guess, will you at least tell me if I'm right?" she asked and he paused to think for a moment.

"Fine," he finally said. "But you can only ask three questions."

With a wicked smile, he added, "choose wisely."

"Does it involve me?" she asked and he immediately nodded.

"Okay," she said before continuing, "does it involve my birthday?"

Again, he nodded and she asked, "does it involve you?"

"Nope," he replied as he shook his head and she scowled slightly. Suddenly, her eyes grew wide and she gasped, "does it involve your brother?"

However, rather than answer he, Mokuba merely said, "three questions, Téa. That was all you got."

Before she could protest, he turned and walked away, saying, "I'm going to head over to the library now. Bye, Téa!"

Téa scowled at the college student, who smiled at her before he turned and ran off, leaving her curious and frustrated. What was happening on her birthday?

"Do you know what this secret is that Mokuba is going on about?" Téa asked as she entered Kaiba's office.

He looked up from his desk and, with a confused face, shook his head.

"What secret?" he asked and she let out a slight groan.

"Mokuba just ran to me and told me that he had exciting news but he couldn't tell me what it was," Téa explained as she headed towards the window.

"That little," Kaiba grumbled under his breath. He should have known that his brother wouldn't be able to control himself. Then again, he'd never been able to keep secrets.

"Did you say something?" Téa asked as she turned around to look at him. Immediately, he shook his head and she sighed as she moved towards him.

"I wonder what it could be," she mused to herself as she stood beside him. Kaiba looked up at her before he chuckled and grabbed her, causing her to gasp in surprise as he pulled her onto his lap.

"Enough with that," he mumbled to her as he buried his face in her hair. "I haven't seen you all day."

"Seto," she turned and smiled down at him. "It's only 10am. The day just started."

Looking into her eyes, he said, "my day doesn't start until I see you," causing her to inhale sharply.

"Seto," she breathed as she looked down into his eyes. His cobalt eyes were ablaze with passion and she could feel heat coursing through her own body.

"In that case," she suddenly smiled and leaned in closer, whispering, "good morning, Mr. Kaiba."

Immediately, a naughty smile crossed his lips and he replied, "good morning, Gardner," before he raised his head and captured her lips. Téa moaned into the kiss and Kaiba, taking that as consent, slipped his tongue into her mouth. The moment he did, Téa felt the passion of the kiss immediately triple and wrapped her arms around him, pulling herself into him.

His arms quickly wrapped around her body and he pulled her closer. Not breaking the kiss, he turned them so that she was now pressed against the desk. As he did, she managed to wrap her legs around him so that she was straddling him. As Kaiba leaned into the kiss, deepening it further, Téa quickly undid his tie and opened the first two top buttons on his shirt.

Suddenly, the door opened and Mokuba entered, saying, "Seto, I-" before he froze, his eyes wide as he took in the scene before him.

"In the office, Seto?! Really?!" Mokuba yelled as Téa pulled herself from Kaiba's lap, her face flushed and her eyes wide.

"It's called knocking, Mokuba!" Kaiba hissed as he also righted himself.

Rolling his eyes, Mokuba said, "I doubt you would have heard if I had."

At his words, Téa's face became even more pink and she cleared her throat, mumbling, "I'll see you later, Seto."

"More like in a few minutes," Mokuba smirked and she went from pink to red. With a shaky smile, she turned and practically ran out of the office.

"Sorry I ruined your fun," Mokuba wickedly said and Kaiba narrowed his eyes at his brother.

"Mokuba," Kaiba asked as he stood and moved towards his brother. "Did you tell Téa about the proposal?"

Immediately, Mokuba shook his head and said, "I promise you that I didn't say anything."

"Very well. Did you hint at it?" Kaiba asked, raising an eyebrow, and Mokuba quickly shook his head. "Did you play that little 'three questions' game of yours?"

At that, Mokuba's eyes grew wide and Kaiba smirked down at his brother.

"Gotcha," he said and Mokuba shook his head.

"I didn't say anything! Téa doesn't know anything, I promise," he pleaded and Kaiba sighed.

"It's fine. I know she doesn't know," he replied before adding, "but you, Mokie, cannot keep a secret. You never could."

Shrugging, Mokuba said, "and you can't lock your door," before he turned and walked out of the room, leaving his brother staring after him.

"Well, this was a beautiful night," Téa breathed as she looked across the table at Kaiba, who smiled back at her.

"The night isn't over, Téa," he smiled cryptically at her as he stood, earning a confused look from Téa. Then, he slowly got down on one knee and Téa's breath caught in her throat.

"Seto," she breathed as he took her hand in his.

"Téa," he smiled at her. "I know that we've only been dating for six months but our souls have known each other for thousands of years. It's true what you said. Our souls are linked to each other because we're soulmates. We're meant to be together."

At that, tears rushed to her eyes and she nodded.

He continued, "after thousands of years of searching, my soul finally found you and I don't want to be separated from you ever again. I didn't get the chance to marry you when you were Teana but fate has given us another chance. Twenty three years ago, on this date, you were reborn so that we could be together in this life. You're mine and I'm yours."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring box.

"Téa," he whispered to her as he opened the box, "will you help me fulfill what should have happened thousands of years ago? Will you finally become my wife?"

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she looked down at the ring in his hand. It was the exact ring that she'd seen at the store and fallen in love with. She looked at his face and, sniffing, nodded.

"Yes, Seto. I'll be your wife," she choked out and watched as a wide smile crossed his face before he placed the ring on her finger. Then, he reached up and kissed her.

"Oh no," Mokuba mumbled as he reached into his pocket. Now flustered, he reached into his other pocket before quickly searching his person, his face falling as he did.

Yep, there was no denying it. He'd lost the wedding rings.

"Seto's gonna kill me!" he hissed to himself. That was the one thing that his brother had put him in charge of and he'd messed up.

"Shit!" he yelled as he fell to his knees and began to crawl around the room. Maybe he'd dropped it somewhere?

Suddenly, the door opened and Kaiba walked in, asking, "Mokuba, are you re-" before he paused as his yes fell on his brother, who was currently crawling around on the floor.

"Mokuba! What the hell are you doing crawling around on the floor? Get up!" Kaiba hissed, watching as his brother's eyes grew wide before he chuckled and replied, "234, 235. There are 235 flowers on the carpet."

"As wonderful as that is, Mokuba, I'm getting married in 15 minutes," Kaiba reminded his brother in a tight voice. "Get up before you dirty your suit."

Now," Kaiba looked at his brother as he stood. "Is everything ready?"

Mokuba quickly nodded and replied, "everything is perfect. There's nothing wrong!"

At his brother's flustered face, Kaiba narrowed his eyes and, stepping closer, asked, "is there something wrong, Mokuba?"

The 20 year old looked up at his brother and gave him a small smile before he shrugged and said, "we might have a small problem."

"Define 'small'," Kaiba bit out and Mokuba gave a small chuckle.

"It's nothing really. Just a minor, inconsequential problem," his brother replied and Kaiba immediately didn't like where the conversation was heading. He knew, from living with Mokuba, that the younger Kaiba had a bad habit of stalling whenever he had bad news.

"What happened, Mokuba?" he asked, gritting his teeth.

"Well," Mokuba mumbled, "I kinda misplaced the rings."

"Come again?" Kaiba asked and Mokuba mumbled, "I kinda misplaced the rings."

"I'm sorry Mokuba, but it sounds like you said you misplaced the rings. As in the rings I need for my wedding," Kaiba said, looking down at his brother, who gave him a tiny smile and nodded.

"You lost the wedding rings?!" Kaiba bit out, enunciating each word.

"Misplaced, Seto. Lost is such a harsh word," Mokuba smiled at his brother, who looked ready to kill him.

"Mokuba, how?!" Kaiba yelled and the younger Kaiba quickly shrugged.

"I promise you that I had it up until this morning! I brought it here with me and everything," he said but Kaiba was shaking his head.

"This is just perfect. Can things get worse?" The moment he asked the question, there was a loud scream from Téa's room.

"Téa!" Kaiba yelled as he turned and headed towards the room.

"Joey is going to propose?!" Téa exclaimed as she looked over at Mai, who nodded.

"Don't say it so loudly! I'm not supposed to know!" Mai hissed at Téa, who'd just let out a loud scream.

Suddenly, the door shot open and Kaiba ran in, yelling, "Téa, are you okay?!"

"Seto!" Téa's eyes instantly grew wide before she gasped, "you're not supposed to be here!"

"Get out, Kaiba!" Mai yelled as she grabbed the pillow closest to her and threw it at him. "You can't see the bride!"

"Damn you, Valentine!" Kaiba hissed at the blonde before he quickly turned and locked the door.

"What's wrong? Is Téa okay?" Mokuba asked as he appeared beside his brother, who quickly nodded.

He looked over and saw that the rest of the geek squad had shown up as well, minus Yugi.

"Did you find it, Mokuba?" Kaiba asked, looking over at his brother, who shook his head.

"Find what?" Joey asked and Kaiba turned towards him, a scowl on his face, as he replied, "Mokuba lost the rings."

"I didn't lose them! I misplaced them!" Mokuba huffed in annoyance.

"He lost the wedding rings?!" Joey exclaimed and Mokuba yelled back, "I didn't lose them! I mis-oh just forget it!"

"You do realize that the wedding is in 10 minutes?" Joey asked, earning a glare from Kaiba, who said, "thanks for the update, Wheeler."

"We don't have time right now for you two to fight," Mokuba scoffed, cutting them off. "We need to find those rings."

"Okay, we'll split up," Tristan said and they all nodded before each turned and headed in a separate direction.

Five minutes later, they all met up and Kaiba asked, "well, did anyone find them?"

"Nope," Joey shook his head as did Mokuba and Tristan.

"Shit. And the wedding starts in five minutes," Kaiba groaned.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" Yugi's voice suddenly asked from behind them. They all turned and their eyes grew wide as they took in Yugi's disheveled appearance.

"What were you doing?" Tristan asked as Yugi quickly straightened himself out.

"More like who," Joey smirked at him, earning an eye roll from Kaiba.

"I saw him and Rebecca sneak away earlier," Mokuba piped up and Yugi's eyes grew wide before he cleared his throat and asked, "what's going on? Why's everyone just standing around?"

"Mokuba lo-" Kaiba began before Mokuba cut him off and said, "I lost the rings."

"What?" Yugi asked, looking more surprised than worried.

"I can't remember what I did with them," Mokuba sighed and Yugi suddenly chuckled.

"I fail to see the humor in the situation, Muto. I can't find my wedding rings," Kaiba snapped and Yugi shook his head.

"It's just that I have the rings," he said, earning gasps of surprise from everyone.

"What?" Kaiba asked and Yugi nodded. "But, why do you have the rings?"

Suddenly, Mokuba gasped and exclaimed, "because I gave them to him this morning! I knew that I would lose them so I asked Yugi to hold them for me until the ceremony."

"Thank god you did," Kaiba grumbled, earning a mean look from his brother.

"No need to be obnoxious, Seto," Mokuba scowled.

"What are you guys doing here?" Mai's voice suddenly hissed as she exited Téa's room. "The wedding is starting! Get going!"

Several minutes later, Kaiba found himself standing at the altar, watching as Téa made her way towards him looking more beautiful than he'd ever seen her look. As she did, he felt happiness that he'd never felt before rush through him. However, as he watched her slowly walk towards him, he suddenly felt rather impatient and wished that she could just run down the aisle into his arms.

"Hi," she whispered to him as she finally came to stand beside him.

Giving her a slight smile, he whispered back, "you look like a goddess," causing her to blush.

After exchanging vows and the rings, the marriage officiant finally reached the part that they both had been eagerly awaiting.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the man said. "You may now kiss the bride."

Turning, Kaiba looked down at Téa, who was looking up at him with tears in her eyes. Stroking her cheek, he leaned down and kissed her.

Although they'd kissed multiple times before, this kiss was different. This kiss was full of love that had survived thousands of years. It was full of love that had transcended time. This kiss united the love story of Teana and Priest Seto with the love story of Téa Gardner and Seto Kaiba. With this kiss, the two souls were finally bound together after searching so long and fighting to be with each other.

Le Honeymoon Night:

Téa saw Seto's eyes scanning the room as he entered their suite, looking for her. Opening the door of the bathroom, she leaned against the frame and whispered, "looking for someone?"

He turned and his eyes grew wide as he took her in. She was wearing sexy blue lingerie, courtesy of Mai, that complimented her eyes and her hair was down, making her look every bit like the sensual temptress he knew she was.

"I'm actually looking for my wife. Have you seen her?" he asked, quirking his eyebrow.

Shaking her head, she sauntered towards him and seductively said, "I haven't. But, you and I can have some fun while you wait."

Immediately, he let out a sigh and shook his head.

"You're quite beautiful, madam," he said, "but I don't know. I happen to love my wife dearly. Besides, tonight is my honeymoon night."

With a naughty look, she replied, "we can still have fun while you wait. I promise not to tell."

Chuckling, Kaiba said, "well, in that case," as he made his way towards her.

"Do you know that you look a lot like my wife?" he asked as he stopped and looked at her.

"Really?" Téa asked, quirking an eyebrow and he nodded, saying, "she is very beautiful. In fact, she reminds me of a goddess."

With that, he scooped her up and threw her over his shoulder.

"Well, someone certainly is eager," she smiled up at him as he deposited her onto the bed.

"It took all of my control not to steal you away during the reception," he smirked down at her and she chuckled.

"Am I really that irresistible?" she teased. Immediately, his face sobered as his eyes darkened and he replied, "you have no idea what effect you have on me, Téa."

"Seto," she suddenly breathed as her own face sobered.

"I love you, Téa," he whispered as he leaned over her and she smiled up at him. "I love everything about you."

He leaned down and, pressing a kiss to her eyes, whispered, "I love your eyes," before he pressed a kiss to her nose and said, "and your nose."

"And your lips," he said as he pressed a kiss to her lips as well. She groaned into the kiss and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him down on top of her.

"Is that all you like about me?" she asked as they broke apart and he immediately chuckled.

"Of course not. I love your smile, your laugh. I love how you make small sounds when you eat, how you play with your hair when you're nervous," he said and she smiled at him. "I love the look on your face when you get lost dancing, how you bite your lips when you're reading, how you call out to me when you're scared, how you cry in my arms when you're upset."

He looked down at her and saw tears streaming down her cheeks.

"And most of all," he chuckled as he wiped her tears, "I love how you cry for the smallest things."

"I love you, Seto Kaiba, with all of my heart and soul," she whispered up to him and he gave her a smile.

"I love you too, Téa Gardner," he replied as he placed a chaste kiss on her lips, which quickly became passionate.

She suddenly let out a groan as he began to press hot kisses to her neck. As he did, his hand fumbled with her bra, earning a chuckle from her.

"Someone has no patience," she whispered as he began to nibble on her ear.

"More like someone looks too delicious tonight," he breathed against her neck before he began to suck on it, earning a shudder from her.

"What about your wife?" she asked and he chuckled.

"She'll understand," he said with a smile. "After all, she knows how irresistible you are to me."

With a chuckle, she asked, "well then, should we skip straight to dessert?" earning a naughty look from Kaiba, who leaned down and captured her lips.

Four Months Later:

"This is so exciting!" Mai squealed as she looked down at the wedding invitations.

"Which one do you like?" Mai asked as she turned towards Téa and showed her the invitations.

"That one," Téa said, gesturing to one of the designs.

"I like that one too!" Mai exclaimed and Téa chuckled. Suddenly, she felt a lightheaded feeling seize her and instantly grabbed the table to steady herself.

"Are you okay?" Mai asked, looking over at Téa, who was suddenly pale.

"I feel lightheaded," Téa mumbled and Mai instantly stood.

"Can you stand?" Mai asked as she moved to help her. Téa nodded and stood before she swayed slightly.

"Serenity, help me!" Mai yelled out to their other friend. Instantly, both women grabbed Téa and helped her move towards the exit.

"But, your invitations, Mai," Téa said and Mai shook her head.

"It's fine. I'll come back later and finish it. For now, we're going to take you home," Mai said, her tone making it obvious that she didn't want any arguments.

Twenty minutes later, the two women were helping Téa into the Kaiba mansion.

"What's wrong with Téa?" Mokuba asked the moment he saw them supporting Téa, who looked very pale.

"She's lightheaded," Mai replied and Mokuba instantly ran towards them.

"I got her," he said as he quickly scooped her up.

"Wow, looks like little Mokuba bulked up," Mai said, earning a chuckle from the 20 year old.

"I work out," Mokuba smirked, earning a chuckle from both women as he carried Téa to her room.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he set her down and she nodded.

"I feel better now," she replied before adding, "Mokuba, I need a favor."

An hour later, Téa looked down at the test, tears in her eyes and a smile on her face.

"Téa!" she heard Kaiba enter the room. However, he did see her and immediately proceeded to the bathroom.

Suddenly, the door flew open and Kaiba ran into the bathroom, concern etched on his face.

"Téa!" he yelled, seeing her on the floor. He ran over to her and quickly placed his hands on her shoulders.

"What's wrong? Mokuba told me that you were light headed," he said and she simply looked at him, tears rolling down her face.

Seeing the tears, even more worry appeared on his face and he asked, "Téa, sweetheart, what's wrong? Why are you crying?!"

Sniffing, she held up the test and said, "you're going to be a father, Seto."

The moment she said it, his eyes grew wide and he breathed, "what?"

Nodding, she replied, "I'm pregnant."

She watched as shock crossed his face before he reached out and pulled her into his arms.

"We're going to be parents, Seto," she sobbed into his chest and he nodded.

"I know, Téa. I know," he said as he stroked her hair, overcome with happiness.

Pulling away, he looked down at her and, cradling his face in her hands, said, "thank you for giving me more happiness than I even thought I'd get."

Giving him a watery smile, she whispered, "I love you, Seto."

He pressed a kiss to her lips and said, "I love you too, Téa," before he hugged her once again.

They were going to become parents. They were going to start their own family.

They were finally going to live the life they'd wanted to since they'd first fallen in love thousands of years ago.

So, what did you guys think? I know it was kind of sappy, but it was supposed to be a little fluffy. But, honestly, it was painful to see this story officially end. I had so much fun writing it and then editing it and, somewhere along the lines, the characters just became a part of me. I'm debating if I'll do a sequel or start an entirely new Seto/Téa fanfiction. Until next time,
