"Ron!" Arthur called from across the toy store, "Should I buy this?" He added as he held up an alarm clock.

"What the bloody hell is that?" Ron asked as he walked over to his dad with a ring binder in his hand, "And why would a toy store have one of those?"

"It's a muggle invention!" Arthur replied excitedly.

"You know how Mum will react to you bringing that home." Ron said matter-of-factly.

"I know, but it uses elektricty!" Arthur replied as he held up the plug at the end of the cord.
"Do what you want, Dad." Ron said with a roll of his eyes, "Think Ginny will like this?" He added as he showed the binder to his dad.

"Ooh, Mum and I have one of those." Arthur replied, ignoring Ron's question, "We have pictures from when we went to Hogwarts in it."

"Can I ask you something, Dad?" Ron asked, turning bright red at just the thought of asking how his mum and dad met.

"What is it, son?"

"How did you and mum meet?"

"Well, your Mum and I met during our first year in the Gryffindor common room, as expected considering we were both in Gryffindor and she was looking at an unopened Christmas present." Arthur explained before taking a slight pause.

"What was she doing with an unopened Christmas present?" Ron asked, taking advantage of the pause.

"That's what I was trying to figure out when I walked up to her and asked. It was a present she had just wrapped for her mum and dad."

"Then what happened after?"

"We started talking, I asked her out on a date and well... You now the rest." Arthur said awkwardly as he slapped Ron's back slightly. "Now, let's go pay for these things and get back home before we start worrying your mother." He added before Ron could say anything more, not wanting to answer any more of Ron's questions.

So i've re-written the ending hoping it isn't as rushed but not quite sure if i did that:/
