A/N: Continuation of Invention Gone Horribly Wrong.

It had been one month since Donatello's last invention that took so long to clean up. Neither Don nor Leo was a happy camper at that time. Splinter had forbidden Donnie to perform any more experiment that had any possibility of going wrong. Of course this didn't mean all experiment. He could still experiment with remote sensors, and such, but he had perfected that since he was seven. He was more interested in the things he couldn't do.

Splinter didn't intend for this punishment to go on forever, he knew how much his son loved these experiments of his. But he had to take some action to make sure that Donnie didn't hurt himself or anyone else.

Splinter was meditating while his sons were playing ninja hide-and-seek. He felt one of his sons quickly come up to him.

"Sensei, I need a good place to hide so Leo won't find me." Mikey whispered.

Splinter smiled he looked around for a second then spotted a dark corner; he pointed it out to Mikey. "Yes! Thank you Sensei!" Said Mikey as he ran into the corner and crouched down so he wouldn't be seen.

"Ready or not here I come!" said Leo. Splinter could hear his oldest son running around the lair stopping every few second to listen for any noises. He searched one side of the lair.

"I found you, Raph!" said Leo. Raph groaned in disappointment. Leo then went over to the other side of the lair near Splinter. They both heard snickering from a dark corner. Splinter shook his head and decided that is was about time to teach his sons the way of silence. Leo ran over to the corner.

"And I found you Mikey." Said Leo

"Hey! How'd you find me so easily?" said Mikey

"I could hear you laughing." Said Leo

"Oh." Said Mikey. Leo began listening again for any signs of Donnie, and for sure he heard one, that sounded a little too familiar.

CRASH! SMASH! BANG! "AH!" Splinter stood up and they all looked at the doorway that leads to the sewer. Donnie came running into the lair breathless, and completely covered in black soot.

"Donatello! What were you doing in the sewers?" said Splinter in an angry tone.

"Uh…nothing Sensei, I just fell in a pile of ash. That's all. Um…I'll be right back." Donnie ran back into the sewers. His family followed him, and they found Donnie trying to hide a mangled piece of something that was too damaged for anyone to tell what it was.

"Donatello, I thought I told you no more dangerous experiments!" said Splinter.

"Well…uh…I kinda like these experiments. I'll try to be more careful I promise!" said Donnie.

Splinter realized that he would have to do more to make sure that Donatello didn't perform such dangerous experiments. But for now he just had to concentrate on getting Donnie cleaned up.
