So I've been wanting to write more about SA, but have been struggling for inspiration. So just to get some things out of my system, here's a little Next to Normal fanfic with Henry/Natalie. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: If I owned Next to Normal, Gabe would be alive and without a shirt for most of the show, am I right ladies?

Henry and Natalie groaned, hearing their apartment phone ring. They had been living together for two and a half years, but have been engaged for about two months. It was a Saturday morning and they both had a rough day yesterday. Natalie was a well-known teacher at a prestigious music studio downtown and came home with a headache from a couple of her students earlier in the day. Henry owned a jazz music store and taught there but came home late due to some mix up with a shipment of some jazz books that were supposed to come in that day. One thing was for sure, though; they both needed their sleep.
"Henry, you get it," Natalie groaned, pulling her pillow over her ears.
"Why me?" Henry said as he buried his head in the crook of Natalie's neck.
*ring*
"Because I'm tired," Natalie said and rolled over so she could sleep on Henry's chest.
"So am I," Henry said as he wrapped both arms around Natalie.
*ring*
"And I love you," Natalie said to Henry, placing a kiss on his bare chest. Henry liked to sleep with just shorts on while Natalie preferred to sleep in her own shorts and one of Henry's shirts.
"I love you, too, Nat," Henry said rubbing her back. "But I'm still not getting up." He wrapped both arms tightly around Natalie. "There, now both of us can't leave."
"I'm happy with that," sighed Natalie, trying to fall asleep on Henry and wrapping her arms around him.
*ring* *ring*
"Stupid phone!" Henry cried, still not wanting to get up.
"Just let it ring! They'll hang up eventually," Natalie said, trying to fall back asleep.
"I know, Nat, but it's really annoying," Henry complained.
*ring* *ring* *ring* *ring*
The ringing seemed endless. They both tried their best to ignore the irritating noise, without success.
"How long has it been since that stupid phone started ringing?" Natalie asked.
Henry looked over at the clock beside their bed. "About two minutes," he sighed. "We really should get a phone in here..."
*ring*
"What the hell is so important that you wait two minutes to call on a Saturday at..." Natalie trailed off. "Henry, what time is it?"
"Six-thirty," Henry mumbled.
*ring* *ring*
"Nat, should we just answer it?" Henry asked.
"You go," Natalie said. "I'll just end up yelling and swearing at the person."
Henry sighed as he, unwillingly, let go of Natalie and walked to the main hallway where the closest phone was. Natalie was trying her best to ignore the ringing.
*ring*
"Henry, hurry!" shouted Natalie, who was fed up with the ringing.
*ri-*
Natalie sighed happily as she heard the ringing stop. "Finally," she said to herself and waited for Henry to come back. She heard Henry mumbling and telling the person to call back later. Finally he hung up and stumbled sleepily back into the room.
"Come back to bed," Natalie said as Henry crawled in, taking Natalie in his arms again.
"So who was it and why was it so frigging important?" Natalie asked as she cuddled closer to Henry. Henry sighed and pulled Natalie closer to him as he tried to fall back asleep.
"Your mom says hi."
