This is just something I thought of in my boredom a few months ago while watching the latest Star Trek movie and having this song stuck in my head. Now I'm finally writing it!
Disclaimer: I don't own Star Trek or Guitar Hero.
Guitar Hero: Spock Edition
It was quiet on the Enterprise. A majority of the crew was asleep, and not a single soul stirred. All was still. Until...
A certain black-haired Vulcan-human hybrid slid into a room, wearing nothing but a light pink shirt, underwear, socks, and a plastic guitar strapped to his shoulder.
"Just take those records off the shelf!" a stereo yelled.
Spock kicked his leg up past his head, jamming out to the music and shredding on the guitar.
"I'll sit and listen to them by myself!"
Spock's lips mouthed the lyrics, completely absorbed by the beat.
"Today's music ain't got the same soul!"
Banging his head, Spock whipped his guitar back and forth, his soul truly into the song.
"I love that old time rock and roll!"
Spock leapt up onto a table and pressed buttons on his guitar, coordinating his movements to the screen's directions. Multiple colored dots flew on a board, showing what to do.
"Don't even take me to a disco!"
As the dots broke for a few seconds, Spock fist pumped before starting back up again.
"I won't even get out on the floor!"
Strutting around the table and a few chairs, Spock jumped up and did the splits in midair.
"Today's music ain't got the same soul!"
Now Spock slid down onto his knees and tossed his head to and fro.
"I love that old time rock and roll!"
The song was over. Spock stood back up, turned around...and noticed Kirk in the doorway, a stupefied look on his face.
"Jim?" he questioned. The man looked terribly shocked.
"Spock...I didn't know you played Guitar Hero. Nice outfit, by the way," said the Starfleet captain, who was now holding in snickers.
"Why yes, I...well..." As if Spock could move at warp speed, he sprung forward and attacked Kirk with the Vulcan Nerve Pinch. He sighed in relief. It would be grave indeed if all of Starfleet found out about that.
Incredibly short, I know. Still, it was fun to write!
