Disclaimer…. I do not own Sailor Moon

Yaten's green eyes gazed down at the beautiful Minako as he embraced her. "I can't wait till we get to land. To your home town." He whispered lovingly to her. "Then, we shall finally be married."

Minako smiled as she felt his bare skin pressed against hers. "I cannot wait…" They kissed deeply and Minako's heart fluttered in her chest. She could not wait till it was official. She opened her eyes to see that darkness had overcome Yaten and cold air surrounded them. "Yaten…?" He suddenly vanished from her embrace. "YATEN!"

Minako gasped as she flung herself up in bed. Her heart raced and she leaned over and hurled. She gasped as Usagi rushed to her side.

"Mina-chan!" Usagi gasped as Minako kept gasping for air. Sweat poured from her brow. "Oh my, what did you catch out there?" Usagi grew more scared as her cousin struggled beside her until she calmed down.

"I'm sorry; I had a terrible dream…" Minako stated. She glanced around the room she was in. The room was made of wood and a lamp lit it from the end table beside the bed. Her eyes fell on to her cousin and Usagi quickly began to remove the bed sheets. Minako's stomach began to rumble loudly. Minako blushed. She did not know what was wrong with her, maybe it was nerves or she had caught the flu. Whatever it was, she needed it gone quickly so that she could set sail the following morning.

"I will get you some food." Usagi informed her as she began to walk off with the sheets.

"Thank you." Minako said. Usagi left the room and a few minutes later, she returned with a bowl of soup. Minako took the bowl and began to drink it. The taste of the soup was terrible, Minako was glad that some things had remained the same, but sad because Seiya would have to endure the terrible cooking. Usagi sat by her side on the bed and sighed. Minako studied her cousin before finally taking a deep breath. "Usa-chan, did the two of you finally get married?"

Usagi lowered her eyes. "No."

Minako stared at her cousin in disbelief. "What?" She pressed her lips together and then lost all ability to control herself. "He quit being a pirate, gave up everything… and the two of you are still not married?!"

Usagi nodded her head. "After he gave up everything he began working for Mamoru… and well, he stated a few times that he wants everything to be ready for the future."

Minako frowned. "So you two are not engaged?"

Usagi stood up. "Not yet…"

Minako held up her left hand. "Yaten and I were planning to marry as soon as we got back into town. I wanted you at our wedding… and Yaten wanted Seiya there as well…" Tears began to fall from Minako's eyes. "Yaten was going to marry me soon… and now…" Minako gasped as the tears began to fall once more. Usagi went to a drawer and pulled out a clean blanket. She walked over to Minako and bundled her up into the blanket. "Yaten is strong… you two will be married. It will be beautiful and we will not miss it."

Minako looked at Usagi. "Thank you…"

Seiya eyed the ship and sighed. "We need people to help man the ship…" Seiya turned around to see Mamoru standing behind him. Seiya could not meet his gaze.

"So, you plan to become a pirate again?" Mamoru glared at Seiya. "Yaten is dead." Mamoru walked over to the edge of the ship and gazed down at the water splashing the ship.

"I do not know what met Yaten's fate…" Seiya admitted. "However, I refuse to just stand here and do nothing as Yaten could be fighting for his life."

Mamoru turned to gaze upon Seiya. "Then, you are doing this for him?"

Seiya tightened his jaw. "No… yes… I am doing it for all of them. Minako, Usagi, Yaten, Rei… myself. I do not need your permission to take on this task at hand."

Mamoru grinned. "No, you do actually… you work for me."

Seiya clutched his fist, Mamoru had been easy to deal with these past three years, and yet he was being a total jerk right now. What was his gain in this?

Mamoru looked at the sails. "I must admit, you cannot man this ship alone."

Seiya looked over at him. "What is your point?"

Mamoru grinned at Seiya. "Let me help. I am useful and I can cover your back." Mamoru walked over to the wheel. "Anyways, I know that Usako will want her cousin to be reunited with her love."

Seiya grinned. Mamoru had not tried a fight in the last three years, knowing that the one who won Usagi's heart was Seiya. Seiya focused on the ship as he took in the minor damages it had. "It actually looks to be in sailable condition… yet we need to get a crew together." Seiya admitted to Mamoru.

Mamoru looked off into the distance. "I don't believe it." He said. He looked over at Seiya with a enormous grin upon his face. "Look who came back from their long honeymoon!"

Seiya looked in the direction Mamoru had referred to and nearly leaped out of his skin with excitement. Taiki and Ami both rode in on horses. Ami glowed as she smiled at the familiar surroundings. Seiya leaped from the ship. "Taiki! Ami!" He rushed over to the two as fast as his legs would take him.

Taiki jumped from his horse and greeted Seiya. "Seiya! It's been a long time!"

Ami nodded her head politely as Taiki and Seya parted. "Good afternoon, Seiya-kun." Seiya gestured for Ami to come off the horse but she politely declined. "I beg your forgiveness; however I am with a child."

Seiya's eyes widened. "You're pregnant?!"

Taiki erupted into laughter. "Seiya, we have been married for three years… why would she not have a child by now?"

Seiya gazed up at Ami's glowing face. "Congratulations!" He then shook his head. "Oh, you are not the only one in town. Minako just arrived. Ami, you may wish to stay away from her though, I believe she has the flu."

Taiki frowned. "Let me go and check her out then."

Seiya guided Taiki to Usagi's home as Mamoru walked over to Ami and took the reins of her horse. "Congratulations, Ami-san."

Ami watched the other two men walk off. "Thank you, Mamoru-san." She said as her eyes never left Taiki's back.

Seiya opened the door and Usagi walked over to the door. Her eyes widened when she caught sight of brown hair behind Seiya. "Odango, guess who…"

"Taiki and Ami!" Usagi screeched as she pushed past Seiya and looked at Taiki's tall figure. Usagi looked around and did not see Ami.

"Ami is not with me right now, I heard that Minako has taken ill?"

Usagi looked at Taiki. "Yes." She confirmed. "She has been regurgitating, sweating, and sleeping a lot…"

Taiki frowned. "She has symptoms of many things. I need to see her." Usagi gestured towards a door and Taiki went to the door and nocked.
"Come in." Minako's voice trailed through the door.

Taiki opened the door and entered. Closing the door behind him.

Usagi turned to Seiya. "What is going on?"

Seiya frowned. "We need a crew to man the ship. We cannot do this on our own."

Usagi frowned. "Where do we find people?"

Seiya shrugged. "Pirate's Cove?"

Usagi glared at him. "No… real men."

Seiya pretended to be hurt. "I am a real man!" Usagi swatted him as he grinned at her. Though both fell quiet and their minds both fell upon Yaten and Rei. "Rei had always done everything in her power to save me… she had always been…" Seiya bit his tongue. "We need to save them."

Usage nodded in agreement. "Yaten and Rei are both…" Usagi felt her tears weld up as Minako's door opened and Taiki walked out with a towel in his hands. He continued to wipe his hands. Usagi and Seiya watched as Taiki moved his lips around in thought.

Taiki finally took a deep breath. "Where is Yaten?"

Usagi and Seiya exchanged glances. "He's missing… along with Rei." Seiya informed the taller man.

Taiki looked at him with surprise. "Yaten and Rei are… together?"

Seiya and Usagi felt a little weird by that question. "Yes, they both vanished." Usagi confirmed.

"Were they… oh this is worse than I thought…" Taiki walked over to the couple. "Yaten ran off with Rei due to the baby." He stated. "No wonder Minako-san is as sick as she is."

Seiya and Usagi fell into one another. "WHAT?!"

Seiya grabbed Taiki's shoulders. "Yaten found out about your and Ami's baby and left Minako to go with Rei to find you to congratulate you two?"

Usagi gestured at the piece of paper on the table. "Then the note means nothing?"

Taiki pulled his glasses from his shirt pocket and began to clean the lens with a handkerchief, his face obviously unamused as the two before him began to make up insanely… stupid ideas.

"Yaten wanted to leave my cousin out at sea sick and alone to DIE?!" Usagi screamed at Seiya.

"He's not that way!" Seiya informed her.

Taiki cleared his throat.

"Yaten is a complete JERK!"

Taiki held his fists above both of their heads.

"Yaten probably got sick of Minako's puke!" Seiya yelled at Usagi as Taiki's fists fell onto both of their heads and knocked both of them down.

"Shut up you… morons!" Taiki cleared his throat. "Minako is the pregnant one."

Usagi and Seiya stared at Taiki in shock.

Taiki kept his coolness. "Now, bring me up to date on this note, and why Minako is here alone."

Ami watched as the sun set over the coast where three years ago a ship full of men who had changed her and the cousin's lives had docked. She could not believe that it was already time once more for them to go on an adventure to save two of them. Ami released a sigh. Now she was in her second semester of pregnancy, which meant she was not getting sick like Minako was. However, her powers were draining. She lifted her hand to allow some water to swirl in it. Even this small amount of power… was making her weak. She pressed her lips together. She was one of the ones who had a power that could be used to fight… and it was needed to save their friends. She looked out as the sun vanished leaving the coldness to embrace her. "We will save you both…"

Mamoru walked up beside her and placed his jacket over her shoulders. "Thinking about Rei and Yaten?"

Ami glanced at him and smiled. "They are both…"

Mamoru frowned. "Rei is a strong… powerful woman… I cannot see her being kidnapped by any normal mortal."

Ami nodded in agreement. "This does not sound normal…" She sighed. "I think we need to find the others."

Mamoru looked at Ami in shock. She turned to head back to the house. "The others?"

Ami nodded. "It is only logical." She opened the door to Usagi's home and walked in to see the Taiki, Seiya, Usagi, and Minako all gathered at the table. Ami smiled at Taiki. "We need the other Blessed Children."

Taiki raised his eyebrow. "Why do you conclude this?"

Ami walked over to Yaten's letter. "Beware of the Damned Children… for they will ruin the Blessed Children." She eyed the letter and held it up to the light. Usagi looked at Seiya and frowned. Why did this even need to exist? More issues due to them being Blessed Children?

"If you study the letter Yaten-kun wrote… you will see another letter was written on top of it before. You can see the indents of the writings." Ami kept moving the paper around. "I see… the word sacrifice and marriage." Ami frowned. She handed the paper to Taiki. "The only people who could shed any light on this are Sestuna and her people."

Taiki frowned and nodded his head in agreement. "If this is why Yaten-kun and Rei-san are missing…"

Usagi groaned. "Let's go then…. To the island where Haruka and the others are." Usagi stood up and looked over at Seiya. "We must find the two of them, and rescue them."

Seiya shook his head. "Minako and Ami-san are both in… delicate situations."

Taiki smirked. "I would not say that aloud…"

Ami narrowed her eyes at Seiya. "Unfortunately, you need me."

"How am I in a delicate situation?" Minako's voice trailed into the room. Everyone turned their attention to Minako who stood in the doorway. Her hair was tied back and she was wearing a white shirt and black pants. "I was sea sick and had some sun poisoning. That is what Taiki informed me. I will be fine soon." Minako walked into the room and placed her hands palms down onto the table. "We are going to rescue Yaten, right? I am not missing out on rescuing him."

Ami stood up and walked over to Minako. She placed her hand onto Minako's shoulder and smiled at the other girl. "There is more that you should know."

Usagi could not contain herself any more as she rushed over to Minako. "Mina-chan! You and Yaten are-" Seiya grabbed Usagi from behind and stopped her from leaping on Minako.

Minako looked confused at the couple. "What… Yaten and I are… what?"

Ami released a sigh. How do you tell a woman whose love, the father of her child, was possibly dead… that they have a child? "What Usagi-chan wants to tell you…"

Usagi bit Seiya and he released his hold on her. "Mian! You're with a child!"

Minako stared at Usagi in shock. It took a few moments before her cousin's words sank in. "Yaten and my…?" Minako's hands instinctually flew to her tiny stomach. There was the proof of her and Yaten's love growing inside of her. She looked wide eyed at Ami, then at Usagi. "Yaten's… baby?"

Usagi grinned brightly. "And yours!" She embraced her cousin.

"Yaten must find out… this baby cannot be without Yaten…" Minako began to choke. "We must find him! More than ever…" Minako broke into sobs as she hugged Usagi and cried uncontrollably.

The others all looked at one another. There was no way to go on the adventure without Minako or Ami. Taiki lowered his head. Why did this adventure have to start in such a vulnerable time?

Next chapter's preview:

The ocean's waves crashed against the ship and Seiya tried to keep the wheel straight. "This is a terrible storm!" He shouted out.

A hand grabbed his shoulder firmly and Seiya turned to see a figure that he never wanted to see again. However, it was short as before he could yell, something hit his head and all went black.

Author's notes:

It has been 5 years since I picked up this story and wrote in it. A lot has happened in the five years and a lot has changed. My husband's health had turned considerably worse, but we are stabilized now. He was on oxygen for a year and a half. So you may have guessed that writing turned to be the bottom of my list. However I did finish up a book a few years ago that I hope to one day get published. No luck so far, of course. I will try to update this story in a timely manner but I feel that it would be wrong to keep writing any more stories once these are all done due to how little time I have these days and how unpredictable the future is. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this latest chapter. The next one as you can guess, everyone is back at sea and well, I am not going to ruin it for you.
