Hey all! This is my first fan fiction, so go easy on me. It leaves off right after Marco anounces that Jen and Lance are cheating on Will. I know that there are a couple stories like this already, but it was such a great idea and i wanted to continue it... enjoy!

"Because they're in love," Marco said with obvious relish. "They've been seeing each other behind your back for months now, while you just –"

Lance flung himself at Marco, and the Pride Winn shook so much that I tumbled to the edge of the boat. I got a glimpse of Marco rolling on the ground in pain and Will calling my name before I sank over the edge of the boat and was in engulfed in the roaring waves.

I was plunged down in to darkness. I couldn't breathe and the waves were tossing me in every direction. I couldn't tell you which direction was up. My lungs were bursting for air now, and they weren't going to get it. All I saw was blackness around me.

I knew I was going to die, here in the ocean. I was going to die because Marco told Will about Lance and Jen. My heart ached for Will.

I never got to tell Will I loved him.

Just as I thought this, strong arm pulled me. I knew it was Will. It must be Will saving me. I didn't think that Death's arms would feel so welcoming and warm.

As he pulled me towards the surface, I felt hope. I knew we would reach the surface. I had to be strong. I needed air… just a couple more seconds…

I felt my once firm grip on Will loosen. I had no strength left. I needed air. Will felt my hands lose their grip and griped me more tightly. He kicked faster, and we swam faster than the both of us had combined.

We broke the surface. I was colder than I had been in my entire life. Shivering and gasping, Will dragged me over the deck of his boat while I was coughing up seawater. I started shivering and shaking all over. My vision was blurry and everything was a little discolored and blurry.

Will was waving his hands in front of my face.

"Elle? Are you all right? Can you hear me, Ellie?" he said franticly.

His voice started to fade. I couldn't feel my legs anymore. My vision went in and out and then finally dark.
