First attempt at House/Foreman.
I nicked these characters from someone else. Please don't sue me; I'm broke enough as it is.
Foreman couldn't understand why House was so damn popular.
The man was rude and untidy and hadn't a genuine ounce of feeling in his entire body.
And yet he was a womanizer. The sarcastic bugger seemed to be a magnet for any girl who met him. Take Cameron. Or Cuddy. Hell, even Kutner and Chase.
The guy was a people-izer.
And Foreman just didn't get it.
Foreman was polite, he was neat, he spent hours polishing his big brown head, and yet – next to House no-one noticed him.
He had worked so hard! He thought bitterly. Yes he had made mistakes, but he had been a teenager; it wasn't fair that he was given this job on those grounds.
Damn House. Damn House and his stubble, and House and his blue eyes, to hell.
Foreman picked out a particularly ugly tie (Wilson had been giving him lessons), and left his apartment.
But today would be the day. Today would be the day he showed them all how much better he was than House. Today he would solve the mystery of the purple patient and be made Head of Diagnostics!
He strutted into the foyer of the hospital, his large coat and scarf a symbol of power only – it was eighty-five degrees outside – and into the elevator.
Just as the doors were closing, a cane was shoved in the gap causing them to swing back open.
"I think I have solved the case." Foreman said, with a confident smirk. It wasn't a smile, but then again he didn't really know what a smile was.
"Well you should get a gold star then." House said, leaning on his cane "...oh no, wait? Would this be the patient we cured and I discharged last night?"
"You-you-you..." Foreman stuttered, which was in no way attractive. "You knew I wanted to appear the big man on this case! You knew I wanted to get your job!"
House took a step in his direction and towered over him.
"How can I help it if I kinda like you under me?" He asked before exiting the elevator.
Damn Foreman hated House.
The bulge in his trousers begged to differ.
