A/N: And here's the epilogue! I'm so sad this story is over, it was one of my favourite character pairings to write (even though it took me so damn long. I'm sorry about that). It was so fun to take on such a different personality. I am glad that I have finally finished it though. Thank you to everyone who has read this story, reviewed, favourited and everything else. I appreciate it! You guys are the best!

After everything that happened that night with David, Griffin and I fell back into a routine. I sold my flat in London, buying a newer, smaller one further outside the city. I used a fake name and ID of course. I didn't live there, I only used it when I really needed to get away from Griffin.

With the destruction of his lair, Griffin and I decided that we should make a new lair somewhere else. A change of scenery. It took us months to clean up the lair after what happened. We had so many papers and important documents that had been strewn about, not to mention the weapons that were everywhere, as well as the debris from the walls. It put a lot of stress on us, our already strenuous relationship and I ended up spending more nights away from Griffin than with. When we were together, we were silent. We both knew that if we spoke, we would argue, and neither of us wanted that. It was better to be silent. When David showed up again, it made me realise that I needed to stop fighting with Griffin because he was all I had; all I wanted. That may be corny, but it is true. It cleared the air and made it easier for us.

Griffin and I had been cleaning things up in the lair, in a tense silence, when we felt a jump. There was only one person who knew where this place was.

"David," I growled.

We both went outside to see David and Millie standing on our doorstep.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I wanted to see how you were," was his reply.

Griffin was the one who scoffed this time.

"Why are you really here?"

"Roland is gone," said David.

It angered me that David could get rid of Roland, but Griffin and I, the more experienced and smarter ones, could not. David could see it in my face, and Griffin could tell by the way I tensed up. David held his hands up.

"I just wanted to tell you that he was gone, and you didn't have to worry anymore."

"We don't have to worry anymore? You hear that Griffin? David is going to protect us from the rest of the Paladins."

"David, if you don't leave, I'm not responsible for what she does to you," Griffin said as he stepped back. He knew this was between us. Millie obviously didn't.

Millie stepped up next to David, as if she could protect him from me.

"He's just trying to be nice."

"Well he can take that nice and shove it up his arse. I've survived long enough without him there to be nice."

She looked appalled that I had said that. David must not have told her how much I had changed.

"I saw mom," he said.

"Yeah, so have I. She sent her goons to try and kill Griffin and I, instead of facing me herself. She's a coward."

"She left to protect us."

"You believe that? Really? You're dumber than I thought. Leave us alone David. Go back to gallivanting with Millie. Stop pretending you care what happens to us."

"I do care. I'm trying to fix this Lyssa. I want to be there for you."

"You can't fix this David. Our sibling relationship didn't just break when you left, it shattered. We can never go back, and I don't want to. As far as I'm concerned, I have no family except Griffin."

At that, Griffin stepped up and took my hand. Although our relationship was strained, we had gotten better at the emotions thing. We were now able to express them without shouting insults at each other, although most of the time we were still shouting insults at each other. We were both too stressed out. He could tell I was getting upset, and he knew what would happen if David didn't leave.

"Just leave David. Take your girlfriend with you, and stay out of our lives," said Griffin.

David just sighed, but he knew he wasn't going to get anywhere with us. Griffin and I had proved that we were way too stubborn.

"Fine, I'll leave you alone, if that's what you really want. I'm sorry Alyssa, I really am."

With that, he took Millie's hand and he jumped away.

Griffin led me back into the lair. Instead of going back to cleaning up, I sat down on the couch. He came over and sat next to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.

"I'm sorry Griffin."

He shook his head.

"I love you Alyssa, no matter what. I don't say it often, but I want you to remember that."

I didn't answer. Instead, I pushed my lips against his, kissing him roughly. It took him by surprise, but he responded soon enough.

The kiss quickly turned heated, as our tongues thrashed around in a battle for dominance. He won of course. He was always the more dominant of the two of us. I relinquished all control to him. He laid me down on the couch, never removing his lips from mine. I could feel something building, and I knew that we weren't stopping.

He pulled away long enough to demand that our clothes came off. Which was a struggle. Who knew that it was more difficult to take your clothes off when you needed them off as quick as possible.

Once our clothes were off, he took a minute to admire me, before crashing his lips back to mine, feeding the passion and the heat, intensifying it.

Afterwards, we were wrapped up together on the couch, just enjoying the feel of each other. He placed a kiss on my shoulder.

"How about that vacation?"

I laughed, because I knew that his idea of vacation was going somewhere and spending the entire time between the sheets. I turned around and kissed him again.

"How about round two first?" I mumbled against his lips.

As we got ready for round two, I couldn't help but think that maybe we'd be okay.

And finished! I'm sorry it took so long! And I'm sorry if this ending is bad. I lost my skills at writing Lyssa and Griffin. One day I might come back and fix it. But thank you to everyone who read this story, and especially to those who stuck with it to the end, even though it's been like 4 years in the making!
