I was noticing a definite lack of Spolly J. love around here and decided to add a bit to the love. Just a series of introspective pieces throughout Season 9.
She rarely let her hair down. In fact, up until that point there had only been one other person to see the nice side of Holly J. And he had disappointed her. She didn't let her hair down because she hated that feeling of disappointment. Being at The Dot was different. After hours, cleaning plates and sweeping up after her utterly brainless classmates may not have seemed like a good time to others, but the frivolous conversations she and Spinner had were probably what made her happiest after a rough day of high school idiocy. Snapping one-liners across the café made the thoughts float through her head: had she ever really been this genuinely happy? Why didn't everyone see through her bull-shit like he did? Putting the last of the plates away, she turned to look at him.
"Can I get a ride home?" she asked, smirking because she already knew the answer.
