Chibiyu: I couldn't keep this from you any longer. I know I am up to my neck in stories but I already wrote the first four chapters of this and I am almost done with 3 of my current stories. Don't worry, I will make it work. This is an AU. Enjoy.
THE PLOT IS MINE BUT THE CHARACTERS ARE NOT!

Summary: Voices are powerful but silence is really what moves people. Silence always leaves questions unanswered and leads to unwanted mysteries. But for some, silence is the only choice they have to save themselves from their own sanity.

It was never supposed to happen like this. I was never supposed have seen, felt and experienced everything I did. It was supposed to have happened to someone other than myself because somehow, I was supposed to be immune for this. Immune from pain. Forever to be shielded by my parents and brother. But after that day, it was never be the same. And everyone knew it.
I was never the same. I didn't want to be the same. I just wanted to be alone. I wanted them back. But that could never happen. It would never happen. They were gone.
"Nicholas?" Mr. Smith called from the driver's seat of the car, scaring off my thoughts like fish scattering in the water. I didn't look at him. I never really did. The car pulled over to a stop on the side of the road and took a breath before looking at him.
His glasses had dug into his short nose, leaving a red line. His brown eyes starred at me with curiosity and determination, his brown hair balding slightly. But I would never tell him that. I would only think it and silently laugh. "Nick, I know this is difficult for you, but promise me you will try with this family? I am running out of options for you Nick. No one really wants a 17 year old anymore. I know you don't want to turn 18 and end up on the streets with no where to go." He stated as I looked away again.
But he was right. I didn't. But how could I know that this family could be trusted? I hugged the one thing I've had since I was a baby, a small stuffed teddy bear. It told me no, that I couldn't trust them yet. But I already knew that.
Anyone that looked at me might have questioned why a 17 year old boy was snuggling with a beaten up bear. If you asked me, I would never tell you. Just stare until you backed away and I forgot about you minutes later. I don't care what people think of me. I never did.
"We are here Nick. And please don't run after the first night? Please try?" Mr. Smith begged and I looked up to the one and only man I respected and nodded once before looking away, eyeing the stone house with apprehension. We both got out of the car, leaving my bags in the trunk for now and I walked three steps behind Smith. He reached out, looked at me encouragingly, and pressed the doorbell.
And I instantly knew I would not last three days in this house.

Chibiyu: Hehe. Not what you expect. Yet. I was on Jonas Fic and reading a lot of fics like this one and I had to write one. You all know the procedure, three reviews for the prologue so I know you are all interested. Until Next Update!
