Kid Trunks arrived at the crash site in no time. "Woah…" He gasped, not really expecting to see another alien ship. It looked a lot more beat up and raggedy compared to the one the princess keeps in their yard.

He jumped down into the crater and flew around the ship, until he came across an open door. With a smirk he entered, curious and forgetting of what his mother had just told him. "Goten is going to be so jealous." He admonished, already thinking of how he would regal his tales to his eager best friend.

The first things he noticed upon entering the space craft was the darkness. The cold came second. Being a demi-Saiyan, it wasn't easy for him to get cold, so he knew something was very strange about this temperature. If anything, it hiked up the creepy factor in this little adventure. It felt like he was getting that ghost ship he wanted.

'Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.' He thought to himself while turning a corner and immediately running into something solid. He opens his mouth to scream but nothing comes out. There was a hand covering his mouth.

"I don't know what you're doing here," Came a soft whisper into his right ear, "but you need to leave at once."

Little Trunks immediately relaxed at the familiar voice, before turning to face the princess standing before him. "I can help. What are you looking for?" He asked earnestly.

Tauviana raised a brow at that. Did he not hear her? "You can't be he-" She was cut off as a bright light grabbed her attention. They could both feel the energy pulsing from it. Just as nearly became too much for Trunks, Tauviana deflected out the side of the ship, creating a massive hole. Wasting no time, she grabs Trunks by the collar and flings him through it.

"Aaahh!" Trunks screams as he is sent careening through the hole and out of the ship. It takes him a moment to find his balance and right himself. He lands on the ground, before clenching his fists. He didn't know what was going on. He didn't know where that blast came from, but the princess needed his help.

However, before he could contemplate the situation any further, something is blasted out of the ship and lands far away in the dirt. The creature stood up. Even from this distance, he could see the scaly blue skin and slick black hair of their assailant. He had never seen anything like it. It looked like a small dinosaur or large lizard. Yeah, that's what it was, a lizard man, Trunks decided. He soon saw Tauviana rise out of the ship, and fly out to her opponent. He thought it best to sit this one out.

Tauviana hovered over the creature, arms crossed with a picture of disgust across her features. "Why are you here vermin?" She asked loudly, in a language Trunks could not decipher.

The creature in question hissed at her like a snake. It made no move to fly up to her height, instead enjoying the feel of the dirt between its toes. Its eyes then narrowed on the medallion she wore, and recognized the emblem immediately. "Prrrrinncccesssss… sssooo good to sssee you…" It hissed out. In the blink of an eye, it was face down in the dirt.

She stood over the reptilian creature, with her foot planted deeply on the back of its neck. "That's Tri Felidae to you scum." She then applied more pressure. "Now, why are you here?" She asked once more. "Who sent you?"

The creature began to laugh hysterically. "You know the anssswer to that." At those words, her foot was immediately removed from its body. However, before it could take in a breath, it was having the life choked out of it.

Tauviana gripped its neck tightly, holding it up in the air. "I will not repeat myself, pest." She warned. "You will speak clearly, no riddles." She ordered, tossing it back onto the ground. She waited.

The creature rubbed its neck, glaring up at the princess. "My Lorrrdd will be very interrresssted in knowing your whereaboutssss." It rose to its feet. "To think that I would come acrossss the Trriii Felidae." It gave her a smarmy grin.

She raised a brow at his words. "You're a scout." She said in realization. 'Why is Izzin sending scouts this far out? Because of the Saiyans?' She pondered before turning her attention back to her opponent. "What are you doing in a Kyyan spacecraft? What happened to its crew?" She asked.

It gave her the most rancorous of smiles. "They were deliccciousssss…" It hissed, breaking into a sardonic laughter.

It was clear to her that this conversation was pointless and that the creature would not be forthcoming with real answers. "Very well." She said to no one and immediately attacked the being below her.

"Medicine?" Goku asked, surprised at Bulma's statement. "For what?"

"Honestly, I don't know. Maybe she's supplementing for the deficiency she has in processing sustenance. Like I said, I believe she's under nourished already." Bulma explained.

Goku frowned a bit at that. "Well, it doesn't seem to be working if you believe that."

"She's…" Future Trunks started as all eyes fell on him.

"Yes, Trunks." Bulma encouraged him to continue.

"She's been acting strange lately. Like she doesn't have a lot of control over herself." Trunks admitted one of his concerns.

"Seems like you've been watching her a lot to have noticed any subtle changes in her behavior." Vegeta pointed out, arms crossed.

Trunks blushed a little at that. "I just wanted to keep an eye on her. You know, to make sure she didn't do anything suspicious." He defended himself. Though Vegeta didn't comment, he still looked very much unconvinced.

It was quiet for a while before Goku broke the silence. "I don't get it Bulma. What makes you think she's taking medicine?" He asked, not understanding where all of this came from.

Bulma was temporarily surprised by Goku's question. "Oh!" She then pulled the syringe gun out of a bag and held it up for all to see. "Did I not mention this?"

.

Little Trunks remained crouched down behind a larger boulder while watching the battle before him. It started off with the princess having the upper hand, but all too quickly she began to waver. He didn't get it. She was extremely powerful, yet she was having trouble with this creature. At this point, he didn't know what to think.

Back to Present

Flipping through the air, Tauviana landed on her feet before immediately crouching on the ground. Beads of sweat glistened their way over her face and down her form. She was exhausted. More than that, her control was beginning to slip, meaning her body was sure to suffer. Unfortunately, she had little time to worry about that, instead she chose to focus on the blast headed her way. Moving swiftly to the right, she dodged just in the nick of time. However, before she could find her grounding, she was forced to pull back and block a punch from her left. Delivering a fierce kick to her assailant, Tauviana was able to buy herself some time, as she watched the creature fly backwards from her sheer force.

'Something isn't right.' She noted. This was a mere scouter. Granted, not the weakest of Izzin's army, but most certainly not the strongest and nothing compared to her. So why did this require so much effort? Standing, she raised her palm and charged up an attack. She waited until the creature was speeding towards her before releasing it. It was a powerful attack that took a lot out of her.

Unfortunately, the scaly alien was able to dodge it and speed towards her. Tauviana was not expecting this. Between her spar with the oldest Trunks earlier and the state of her unstable energy, she was nearly at her limit. The creature was getting closer, and before she could contemplate her next move a flash of bright yellow entered her vision.

"What's that?" Future Trunks asked his mom, unsure of what the item in her hand had to do with anything.

"It's a needle gun of, what I suspect, Kyyan origin." Bulma answered before removing the empty vial from it. Setting the gun down, she held of the small piece of glass. "Luckily, it wasn't completely empty. There was just enough residue to get a sample. It's still being analyzed in the lab, but from the little information gathered, I think it's some type of treatment." She explained.

They all let that soak into their mind for a while. "Hmm, what do you think it is Vegeta?" Goku asked his friend.

"Why are you asking me Kakarott?" Vegeta asked with a gruff.

Goku just scratched his head. "I don't know. You seem to know a lot about this stuff."

The older Saiyan just glared at the orange clad one. "How exactly am I supposed to know whether or not she's on medication and why?" He folded his arms, annoyed by their gazes. He then looked to the side. A thought had occurred to him, but he hated letting the buffoon think he was right. He sighed deeply. "You said that she appeared to be malnourished, and the boy here says that she's been losing control of herself. Considering she is the Tri Felidae, both of those statements appear to be a contradiction. She is the strongest of her people. Even if by some odd anomaly she were able to get sick, I doubt she would have ever been permitted to leave Kyyan space. She's far too valuable to risk."

"Then what else could it be?" Bulma asked getting frustrated.

Vegeta thought about it for a moment, before responding. "Perhaps it is a form of… suppressant."

"Suppressant?" Goku echoed, as Bulma's eyes brightened in understanding.

"To suppress her energy?" Trunks asks, not really understanding why they'd do such a thing.

"The only issue I can see her having would be too much power." Vegeta stated, having giving thought to it before ions ago, when he wished for revenge. "She's supposed to be an embodiment of a goddess, but she is still mortal with a mortal body." He pointed out.

Bulma set her tablet down onto the table. "That makes sense. Either way, we won't know for sure until the results are complete."

"Where did you find this gun?" Vegeta asked, not liking the idea that his mate was snooping around a very dangerous and very unstable demi-goddess.

"Oh!" Bulma looked surprised by the question for a moment, glancing at the gun and vial. "Actually, Trunks snuck into her room." Goku's and Vegeta's eyes turned to Trunks, his face reddened.

Future Trunks scratched the back of his head. "It was only for a second. I didn't see anything." He stammered, shocked that he had gotten caught. Goku's and Bulma's eyes widened at that declaration. Vegeta just continued to stare at his son. And the silence stretched into awkwardness.

"Err… I meant little Trunks." Bulma clarified. She glanced to her teenaged son. "But we are going to revisit this later, young man." Trunks wanted to say something, but was too embarrassed. He knew he was in trouble by her tone. Bulma then turned her attention to Vegeta. "I was planning on speaking to you about this later, but… it seems our curious little boy had an adventure earlier in the princess's room." She admitted. Vegeta's eyes instantly narrowed.

Goku chuckled. "Wow. Like mother, like son, wouldn't you say Bulma?" He stated, pulling her attention away from the whereabouts of her youngest.

"And what is that supposed to mean, Son Goku?!" Bulma raged at her longtime friend.

Goku's eyes widened as he realized his mistake. "Uh… nothing! Nothing, just…. You… you know… always into… stuff…" He trailed off unconvincingly.

"Speaking of the boy, where is he?" Vegeta asked suddenly, not sensing the boy's ki within their home. "He should've been back by now." He stated, growing suspicious.

Bulma moved her eyes from Goku to her mate. "What do you mean where is he? Can't you sense him in the compound?" She asked concerned.

Vegeta rose to his feet. "No." He answered.

Goku stood up as well. "Maybe he went to…" He trailed off as the three Saiyan's in the room eyes widened. Without a second thought Vegeta was out the door with Goku trailing after. Just as Future Trunks made to follow, a hand on his arm stopped him.

"What is it?" Bulma asked her eldest.

"Trunks is nowhere near here, and he just went Super Saiyan." He told her, before speeding out of the kitchen to follow the others.

Bulma's face paled at that thought. "My baby!" She cried in concern. She ran outside and pulled out a capsule. "If they think for one moment that I'm going to sit here when my Trunksy needs me, they're gravely mistaken." There was POOF! and a tiny aircraft appeared. She jumped into it and started her engines. Using the ki scanner she had installed, the ship soared into the stormy sky. "Mama's coming!"

.

~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ Chibi Trunks and Tauviana ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~
.
Tauviana was slightly amazed at the sight before her. This would be her second time seeing such a thing achieved, and in the form of a child no less. Looking at the youth, now harnessing an impressive amount of ki, hair as golden as the older one, and blocking the attack meant for her. Yeah, she was in the presence of yet another Super Saiyan. 'Does this mean they can all transform? Is it really that simple to master?' She pondered, as Kid Trunks kicked the creature in the face, sending it backwards.
The boy looked back at her with a grin. "Sit this one out princess. I'll take care of it." He told her before speeding off to confront the alien again.
"Sit this out?" She questioned. "I'm not some invalid." She moaned, trying to stand up. Her energy was all but spent as she fell to her knees. "Maybe, just a moment." She could feel her power fluctuating. If she could only focus and regain control. The little one was giving her time. Best not to waste it.
… …
"Didn't your mom ever tell you not to hit a girl?" Chibi Trunks asked the creature with a smirk. It only responded with foreign words and hisses. "Yeah, I don't know what you said, but I'm sure it wasn't important." He quickly dodged a kick to his right and a punch to his left, and then several more attempted jabs. "Wow, Cell gave up a better fight than this. I guess it's just not your day, coming up against a Super Saiyan like myself." He proclaimed, chest puffed out. The creature tried one more attack before Trunks flipped and kicked it on the top of its head, sending it slamming into the Earth below.
Trunk laughed. "And here I thought I'd need to fuse with Goten." He glared down at the crater he sent the creature into. "Pathetic."
The Renois stood up from the blast only slightly injured. It stuck its long tongue out, licking what appeared to be its lips, before showing its razor sharp teeth in a vicious grin. It slowly began powering up, though Trunks could not sense it. Two horns protruded from its forehead, followed by multiple horns down its back and at its elbows. Its claws extended and its eyes were filled with rage. It jumped up, speeding at Trunks, and before the boy realized what was going on, he felt a searing pain in his stomach.
… …
Tauviana was still on the ground, focusing her reserves. She had kept an eye on the fight before her, seeing that things were going okay. Then something changed. After the boy sent their assailant crashing into the ground, she felt an immediate difference. The creature began channeling a different type of energy. Her eyes widened as she witnessed its change. 'That's no scout.' She quickly realized her mistake. "That's a harbinger of death." She utter out in disbelief. Harbingers were assassins and they were of an elite status. They were merciless and they were cruel. She saw the Renois jump up towards the boy. "Dammit!" She shouted climbing to her feet.
She closed her eyes in concentration, feeling her energy wrap around her. She didn't need much, just enough control to end this fight now. Her eyes shot open, glowing silver. She flew up into the sky and right into the fray before her.
… …
Trunks attempted to dodge some of the attacks, but managed to dodge none. At this point, he felt that the beast was toying with him. He soon found himself out of Super Saiyan mode and hurting all over. He managed to crawl back onto his feet, knowing that his father wouldn't be too pleased with him if he were defeated on his knees. He glared at the creature as it neared him. "I'm not afraid of you." He told it, not caring whether or not it understood him.
The Renois's grin widened. It would savor this kill. With one hand extended, it sent a wave of energy to the boy, watching as he side-stepped the small blast, as it knew he would. The move put Trunks in perfect position for its final attack. It was suddenly in front of Trunks, shooting its claws out towards the boy's beating chest. However, instead feeling soft bloody flesh around his anxious fingers, the creature found its arm stuck. "What?"
Trunks stared in surprise as the Tri Felidae blurred right in front of him, protecting him from the onslaught of the creature. He felt his energy drain as he fell to his knees. He was glad that he didn't have to fight anymore.
"Your fight is with me, harbinger." Tauviana growled in disgust, tightening her hold on the creature's wrist.
It smirked. "Ssssoo, you fiiiigured ittt ouuttt."
"Yes. Unfortunately for you." She told it right before crushing its wrist in her palm and ripping the appendage from its body.
"Aaahhh!" Its blood curdling scream filled the air. It attempted to back away, but she grabbed it by the throat.
She squeezed hard enough to silence its cries. "I know what you are capable of, and cannot risk your survival." She admitted regretfully, knowing that if she ended its life, she may never learn what happened to the crew of that ship. She narrowed her eyes at its futile struggle against her true strength. Without a second thought, she shot a ki beam out of her palm straight through its neck, instantly severing its head from its body.
The corpse fell to the ground with a heavy thud, though the sound was masked by the thunderous roar of the storm above. Tauviana released her energy, not wishing to waste any more of it while she remained in control. She felt the raindrops soak into her tattered clothing and weigh down her hair. She scowled at the lifeless body in front of her. Its presence has raised too many questions. She was pulled out of her reverie at the sound of movement behind her.
"We sure showed him." Chibi Trunks said with a grin while standing up. Or at least trying to, as he soon toppled over. He fell into gentle arms.
"It." She corrected him. "They have no gender, nor are they entirely sentient." She pulled him into her arms. "This was not your fight etulo. You should not have intervened." She chastised him, looking over his injuries.
He frowned in confusion. "Etulo?"
"It means 'little one'." She explained.
He was surprised by that and gave her a painful smile. "I couldn't let it hurt you."
"Why?" She asked, thoroughly curious at his answer.
"Because," He began, eyes closing, "you're my friend…" He trailed off, falling unconscious. Before she could fully comprehend what the bundle in her arms had just said, she sensed several ki signatures arriving. She had been so preoccupied, she hadn't really noticed them until now.
"Hand over my son at once, Tri Felidae!" Came the fierce growl of the Saiyan prince.
Tauviana raised a lone brow at him as he landed right in front of her. The other one in orange landing just behind him. "You need only ask Prince Vegeta." She told him calmly, walking closer to him so that she could hand the boy over as gently as possible.
"What happened?" Future Trunks asked immediately upon arrival.
She sighed, not really wanting to go into it, but considering the state of the boy felt she owed them something. She didn't like the feeling. "As you can see, from the spacecraft and dead body, your planet received another visitor and I killed it." She was tired and hungry and felt like she could use another shower. "Anything else I can help you with?" She asked testily.
"And the boy?" Vegeta asked, still very tempered.
"He… got involved." Was all she said.
"And you let him?! He's just a kid!" Future Trunks yelled, disbelieving that she'd let a kid fight, what appeared to be a difficult fight.
She crossed her arms. "I didn't let him do anything." She growled out, before shaking her head. "Besides, what does it matter now? He's alive isn't he? Take your son and go Vegeta, before I lose my patience." She said with a heated glare. Her control was once again slipping and she did not want to reveal any weaknesses.
Goku was staring around the battle area. It must have been intense, he realized. He looked from the ship to the decapitated carcass. "What happened here?" He asked, trying to put it all together as well as decipher what type of species was lying on the ground a few feet away from them. However, before Tauviana could choose whether or not to answer that inquiry, an air craft zoomed its way right to them.
Bulma haphazardly landed her plane. Jumping out, she ran over to them screaming. "Trunks! Trunks!" She ran up to Vegeta and pulled their unconscious son out of his arms. "Oh my poor baby. What happened?" She asked Vegeta, but his eyes were still on the princess. So Bulma turned to her. "What happened to my son?!" She shouted enraged.
"Are you blind or simply inept?" Tauviana bit back, she was growing increasingly irritated. "He bit off more than he could chew." She told her before looking away in a dismissive manner. "I don't see the need for all the dramatics. He's alive, isn't he?" She spoke in a bored tone.
It would be an understatement to say that Bulma was upset, she was livid, literally seeing red. She jumped towards the princess, but was held back by Future Trunks. "I want you out of my house!"
Tauviana scoffed at that. "As if you have a choice." She said passively. Glancing at the dead body and abandoned ship in the distance, she inwardly groaned at having to clean the mess up; especially in the rain. Where was her squad when she needed them? "Now, if you will excuse me I…"
This enraged the blue haired scientist further. "How… how dare yo-" She started, but was cut off.
"Enough Bulma." Vegeta told her, placing a calming hand on his mate. "Let's take care of the boy first. We'll deal with this later." He said, turning from Tauviana.
The Tri Felidae did not like being dismissed in such a fashion. Or being referred to in such a manner, as though she were a bother, a nuisance… irrelevant. She took one step towards the little family, a scowl deeply etched on her face. Sure they were upset over the child, but it wasn't her fault! Perhaps she needed to remind them exactly who was in charge here. "The only thing that is going to be de-dealt with Prrrince Vegeta is… is…" She began stuttering. This odd occurrence captured the attention of all present. "… is…" She began breathing heavy.
Goku looked concerned, stepping nearer her. "You okay Tauvi?"
Tauviana did not hear him. With the loss she took with her serum and the over usage of her energy, she knew she had been tempting fate. She needed rest. Her eyes fell onto Trunks. It was now apparent to her that she could not wait on Nevyn. A choice would have to be made soon. But not now, she noted as darkness consumed her.
