Power Rangers Dimension Legends 32

Rated K+ for cruder language (non swearing)/fantasy action violence. I don't own any anime character in this story nor do I own Power Rangers as its owned by Saban Brands. I do own the Legends Zords, Beatrice and her two girl buddies, monsters, and Dikornna herself. In today's exciting chapter the rangers take on a monster named Cyberbot Fighter who attacks Yusuke's dimension! However once the heroes arrive he spawns off his twin brother Slayer Slayer who teleports to the Slayers dimension. With now two monsters in two different dimensions how can our heroes hope to win? Read on and find out in the next thrilling of chapter of Power Rangers Dimension Legends!

-chapter 32 - The Slayer's Slayer

For once it was a miserable day outside, as in pouring down buckets of rain with the sounds of thunder in the distance. The rangers were stuck inside trying to amuse themselves. Currently Gohan, Nana, Asuka, and Yusuke were watching the likes of Duo and Kai playing through a Play Station re-release of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers originally for the Super NES with a few edits mostly as the town knew who the first generation of rangers were now (as their identities were now in the game).

The game wasn't that way upon first release but still it sold so well the townspeople were willing to overlook that detail. The black and blue rangers were fairly skilled playing as their earliest counterparts. The German girl herself was now more inclined to play as Trini the original yellow ranger... course she'd play the whole game as Trini.

It was a boring day to say the least. Because of the rain the rangers couldn't go swim at the beach or the lake and walking around in a lighting storm was a fools quest. That was just asking for trouble. It was Hotaru who let out the first cry of frustration. "Ahh I'm bored!''

Well with the violet ranger's rant it was now official... the team was bored out of their skulls. Kai looked over the calender having marked every battle with a sticker. ''Geez... It's been awhile since we had our last mission."

''Can't help it. There hasn't been any activity from Dikorrna in a long while. That witch attacks whenever she feels like it.'' Amelia said sipping her cream soda. It was something she'd come to like about the high tech world of Angel Grove. If Lina had seen the kind of food available at the mall the Seyruun princess was sure the redhead would go crazy.

Seeing as how Duo was as bored as the next ranger he made a statement he actually never thought he'd ever say. ''I'd actually be happy if Dikorrna attacked again. There would be... SOMETHING to do.''

''We beat her last plan. Maybe she gave up?'' Nana suggested. The others shot her a dirty look for being a tad too naive.

''I doubt it. She's likely cooking up a very nasty plan right now. I bet my EVA training on it.'' Asuka said looking out the window and up into the clouds.

-The Moon

Meanwhile looking right back at her was the very witch herself. Dikorrna was using Rita's old telescope to spy on the rangers. She was ready to beat those rangers this time. Machine Master still had a few monsters in storage left she could use if the need arose. She knew just the one. If the ranger's beat her in one place well then she'd just have to use ''a divide and conquer'' strategy. She'd attack one dimension then attack another while the rangers were fighting her monster. ''Arise Cyberbot Fighter! Arise and conquer!''

In a blast of greenish blue fire the monster appeared. Cyberbot Fighter resembled a grey armored motorcycle stuntman complete with helmet and black viser. His chest bore a series black vents while cables went from his jet equipped backpack to his arm blasters. The blasters were a set of two long gun barrels. His waist had a beige belt equipped with armored pockets. He then saw who summoned him as he immediately knelt down for her. ''My empress its good to see you again how may I be of service?''

''Simple... Destroy the Power Rangers! Avenge your fallen lord Machine Master.'' The alien empress ordered.

The newly summoned Cyberbot Fighter asked unsure of just what he'd heard. "Machine Master was destroyed?" His great and powerful master had been destroyed? It just wasn't possible his master who was an all powerful automaton that served Dikorrna? Based on the look of his queen she was serious Cyberbot Fighter realized it was time to attack. "Alright my empress just send me down my other half will annihilate those rangers!"

''That's the spirit now go!'' Dikorrna half shouted as she aimed her staff at the robotic monster and teleported him away to raise havoc.

Going back to her throne the evil green skinned space witch simply smirked and gazed down on the planet Earth. This time victory was assured. Cyberbot Fighter had a hidden ability that would definitely take the ranger's off guard.

-Earth -the park

In a burst of black flames the robotic monster appeared and began blasting things. Smoke billowed up into the darkened stormy skies as lightning flashed while thunder rumbled. Cyberbot Fighter was reveling in his self-made devastation.

-Command Chamber

The fact that a monster had appeared in the city hadn't gone unnoticed by Zordon and Alpha 5. In fact every single alarm mechanism was going off at the moment. "Aye-aye-aye-aye! The sensors have detected a monster attacking the park! But the thunderclouds over the city are interfering with out scanners. We can't even get a solid scan on what its capable of!''

''Nevertheless Alpha send the rangers to the park! Keep trying the scanners I will relay all the information you find.'' The ethereal floating head suggested as the robot assistant punched in the necessary button sequences to contact and teleport the rangers to the battle site.

-the Park

Once the eight warriors teleported to the park it was still pouring down rain and thundering like crazy. Their target then turned around and noticed them. ''Oh hey Power Brats nice of you to come by on this stormy afternoon. I know you all didn't come just to talk shall we get things started? I am Cyberbot Fighter.'' Cyberbot Fighter said getting into a fighting posture ready to take on the rangers.

-begin Power Rangers Theme by Powerglove

''Well I tell you what for one of Dikorrna's monsters you ain't that ugly.'' Duo mentioned taking out his Garuda Axe.

It was then the monster gestured for Duo to attack him as the monster barraged him with gunfire only for Duo to block every shot via his weapon as he slashed Cyberbot Fighter right where his hip was. The attack nearly cut off his belt. Sparks shot from the injury but didn't stop the monster's rage fueled rampage.

The mecha monster ran straight for Gohan and Yusuke who whipped out their large edged weapons, Cyberbot Fighter punched Yusuke only to be slashed across his back by Gohan. The monster retaliated by unleashing tons of gunfire on him. Gohan covered himself as the blast drove him back. But instead the monster was sliced across the chest by the green ranger. Still undaunted the monster sucker punched both the red and green rangers out of his way.

The likes of the blue, gold, and violet rangers took out their Dimension Blaster sidearms and blasted the monster with everything they had. The monster rushed through the shots and blocked a swipe from the blue ranger's Chimaera Lance but was nailed by the yellow ranger's Leviathan Dagger's slash. As the violet ranger spun her double sided Minotaur Scythe she slashed Cyberbot Fighter right upside his face then she kicked the monster away then chased after him.

She slashed him again across his chest and left hip. The mecha monster just punted her away only to be barraged by the pink and gold Manticore Bow and Centaur Gatling weapons. Nana sent off numerous arrows which the monster blasted away with his gunfire barrage. The monster charged at the pink ranger and swung down both his fists on her who blocked the blow via her bow. But Cyberbot Fighter was strong, as the ground below the pink warrior cracked and broke into chunks. Even with her vectors increasing her leg and arm strength it was still difficult holding this monster back. Nana was saved by a powerful blast from her gold uniformed friend gatling gun weapon.

The blast sent Cyberbot Fighter crumpling to the ground. Slowly he got right back up sure enough. ''Hahahah! That's what I want you going all out! Gimme all ya got rangers!'' Cyberbot Fighter taunted the group ready for more fighting. It seemed he still hadn't had enough of a beating.

This really puzzled the rangers. This monster was enjoying the fight far too much... For being a minion of that space witch he sure was easy going about being beaten like a good sport. So much so he had to up to something. ''Sorry ranger's but I gotta leave this party and start a new one somewhere else.'' The monster said vanishing in a blast of black flames.

"Zordon? Alpha? Can you get a fix on where he's headed?'' Gohan said over his communicator.

Lightning lit up the sky as thunder rumbled while finally an answer came through. The connection wasn't too good as the massive electrical activity of the storm was interfering with the message. So much Gohan could barely understand what those manning the Command Chamber were saying, in this case it was Alpha because of all the static. "Rangers (static) ...ased... (static) on... (buzz) m... data he's... Yusuke's (static) person... (static) ...mension.''

''Alpha? Ya gotta repeat that! We're getting a lot of static!'' Hotaru said over her communicator next.

The brainy blue ranger kept a close ear to the garbled message and figured it as best as his abilities could do. ''I think we should transport to Yusuke's dimension. If we're wrong we should fall back at the Command Chamber.''

Everyone seemed in agreement and figured it as good a plan as anything and the warriors teleported away in an array of color.

-Yusuke's dimension

Upon arrival in the green ranger's home reality the group were trying to remain undetected by the city. Yusuke's dimension was very much unaware of the supernatural activity going on so a group of eight color coded teenagers with weapons would stick out like sore thumbs. So it would best to hide and sneak around until the group found their target. Suddenly Gohan's communicator went off startling everyone. ''Huh? Zordon? Alpha? Anybody?''

''Finally! Aye-aye-aye-aye! Finally, I thought I'd never get through to you all. The sensors say you're in Yusuke's dimension. I'm glad my message wasn't too scrambled from the storm otherwise you'd be hopelessly lost. The monster should be somewhere around the industrial district be on your full guard rangers I don't like the looks of this.'' Alpha said over Duo's communicator.

''Yes rangers exercise extreme caution, Cyberbot Fighter has very little data in our computer banks. In every battle he's been in he leaves no trace of his tactics, weapon capabilities or witnesses.'' Zordon added over the line warning the warriors to use caution when fighting this enigmatic foe.

-shortly

Sometime after the rangers neared a steel plant they heard an explosion come from the parking lot. Racing to the scene they saw Yusuke's allies Botan, Hiei the fire apparition, plant manipulator Kurama, and of course the strongman of them Kuwabara lying on the ground obviously beaten. It seemed the alien might of Cyberbot Fighter was too much for the Spirit Detectives supernatural might (as evidenced by them wearing the outfits from their Dark Tournament battles).

''Darnit crap! He's strong!'' The fire demon half cursed as the battle was starting to annoy him. He was thinking of using his Jigan Eye on this beast when Kuwabara suddenly noticed his green suited comrade and his allies.

"Bout time ya got here Urameshi!'' The hulking boy groaned out as Cyberbot Fighter barraged the rangers with fire from his guns.

The barrage kept the color coded heroes from assisting the Spirit Detectives. Now it was time for the monster to make a few demands. ''Silence human scum! Green Ranger you finally arrived. If you don't take me out right this minute I'll destroy them all... And I doubt in their weakened condition they'll be able to protest much to it.''

The three rangers knew combining their weapons was their only shot at stopping this maniac from killing their green suited friend's allies. ''Fine. Centaur Gatling!" Amelia yelled as her gun floated in the air.

"Minotaur Scythe!" Hotaru called as the scythe split in half and attached to the gun barrels sides.

"Pegasus Banryuu!" Yusuke yelled as he threw his blade upon the gatling gun top.

"Mythic Supreme Cannon ready!" The three others all out. "FIRE!" The trio call out as the combined weapon as the three beams of green, gold and violet light flew into the gatling barrels and two huge beams shot out and blasted the alien goon but it wasn't enough... Cyberbot Fighter was barely even injured.

It was then the alien mook started jerking around while streaks of electrical energy arced all over his body as a stream of dark purple light surged out behind him as it reformed into a dark purple version (with deep green mottled markings) of Cyberbot Fighter except with black cannon barrels on each shoulder and just behind his head. His viser was white while his belt was brown.

''What's he doing!? Ah crap... '' Was all the gold ranger could mutter upon seeing just what happened.

''What the... ?!" Duo gaped as his jaw dropped inside his helmet.

The monster just cloned itself and now the rangers had two to deal with now! Now things had gotten ugly. If Cyberbot Fighter could take as much punishment as he could then it scared the rangers as how much this new foe could endure.

''Ahh there we go Power Punks meet my other half... Slayer Slayer!'' The monster then went about introducing its enhanced replica.

The double aka Slayer Slayer if C. Fighter's word could be taken at face value flexed his limbs ready for a fight. ''Hey there good to see you all but me and my bro got work to do! You take care of this dimension I'll head to another! Later!'' Then Slayer Slayer vanished as he threw a small explosive which covered his teleport based escape route.

"Alright rangers now lets get this business started!'' Cyberbot Fighter said as he encased the green ranger's allies in a energy net... mostly to keep them out of his business. He struck a fighting posture as well.

Suddenly the gold ranger's communicator went off as it was urgent information from Zordon. "Amelia I've just discovered Seyrunn Castle is under attack by Slayer Slayer! Rangers you must split up and defeat them on both fronts!''

"But how'll we take on two monsters at once! In two separate dimensions no less?'' Duo griped.

The violet ranger made a glance at her pink compatriot who knew what do to. "Nana and I'll stay here and help Yusuke.'' Hotaru mentioned as she and Nana took out their weapons to help Yusuke against C. Fighter.

This meant that Amelia was going with Gohan, Asuka, Kai, and Duo back to her father's castle. It was just like last time when she led the group before. "OK then Amelia you're in charge lead the way.'' Gohan said as the five teleported away to the gold ranger's home dimension.

-Amelia's dimension

As the other five rangers arrived they quickly saw the likes of Slayer Slayer hadnow grown to giant size ready to destroy Prince Philionel El Di Seyrunn's great castle as his royal guards tried blasting him with cannon balls. It did little except to ding and scratch his armor and make him angry. ''Nice try ya little pests! Now its time I smash you all and yer castle into dust!''

Gohan saw the castle and all that lived in it needed some Zord assistance. "Ok guys Zord time! We need Legends Zord power now!" Gohan called out as the others followed.

"Blue Chimaera Zord power!" Kai called out.

"Black Garuda Zord power!" Duo called.

"Yellow Leviathan Zord power!" Called out Asuka.

"Gold Centaur Zord Power!" Amelia followed after him.

-begin Go Gold Ranger by Jim Cushinary (again replace the pronoun he/him with she and her)

The rangers teleported into the cockpits of their Zords which combined together as the five rangers called out the Megazord sequence having been completed. "Legends Megazord with Centaur power!''

The L. Megazord struck a fighting posture and goaded Slayer Slayer into attacking it instead of the castle which only got him angry. ''You think your overgrown pile of reject parts can stop me? C'mon Power Brats show me what yer made of!''

The likes of Amelia's allies had come out of hiding having recognized the ranger's voices. They'd come back! The likes of Lina and her other traveling companions were in a bit of a shock at seeing them and their metallic sentient battle animals. The blonde albeit slow-witted swordsman Gourry could never get over just how big their "Zords" were. Then again neither could Naga or the Prince himself. While he was a pacifist he would fight for a deemed injustice... Amelia had told him last time their mentor Zordon had given the rangers their powers but said they should only fight if Dikorrna had forced them to.

The L. Megazord weaved out of the way of one of the monster's punches and activated its Legends Saber and used a downward swipe to try and cut Slayer Slayer down to size. But the monster blocked the blow with one of his forearm based gun barrels. He then let out a massive energy blast from his free arm. The blast hit the Megazord dead center in the chest sending it toppling over face first as its free hand clawed into the ground as it skidded back several hundred feet.

Despite seeing the hero's main battle unit topple over Naga couldn't help but cheer them on. "Lina! Its the Rangers they came back to help us just like they said they would. Go Rangers go!" Naga cheered on from the castle tower.

Getting back to its feet the L. Megazord punched the monster right square in the face sending reeling it in pain.

-meanwhile -Yusuke's dimension

In the dimension of the green ranger things were just as bad now as Dikorrna had enlarged Cyberbot Fighter to giant size. It was time to summon the Zords. Green Pegasus Zord power!" Yusuke yelled.

Going on Nana called out next. "Pink Manticore Zord power!"

Hotaru swiftly called out her Zord too. "Violet Minotaur Zord Power!"

The Mythic Wing Megazord then landed with a heavy thud upon the city streets squaring off with the sinister underling of the green skinned space witch. Cyberbot Fighter threw a punch that clocked the Megazord a bit back. C. Fighter threw another punch which this time the M. Wing caught so C. Fighter kicked the humanoid mecha right in the legs. As they traded blows with the monster he suddenly recoiled like he'd been slugged in the face. Realizing their chance the M. Wing gave the monster a good one-two styled punch of a beating sending him reeling back.

-Slayer's dimension

The other five ranger's saw Slayer Slayer once again fell back in pain almost like something unseen had punched him hard in his gut area. Duo was trying to figured out just what happened. Every so often the monster would act like something or someone invisible attacked it. ''What's this punk's issue? Is he havin' a spaz attack?''

"Hmm... I think I got an idea though... " Gohan said activating a feature Billy had added to the Megazord's physical combat functions. He swung a hard hitting punch which the Megazord copied nailing Slayer Slayer hard upside the face sending him toppling over.

-Yusuke's dimension

Back in Yusuke's dimension things had just gotten stranger still as they saw Cyberbot Fighter suddenly go toppling over like he'd been punched by a giant piledriving fist. Nana was confused by this turn of events. "What's going on? It looks like something just hit him HARD no less.''

''That is weird. What's going on with this monster?'' Hotaru wondered aloud.

It was then the comm system blipped on. It was Gohan with some news. Hopefully it was good. "Yusuke... I think I know how to take these jerks down. When we punched the one here you, yours recoiled right? I think the two are linked, in short they feel each others pain when they're attacked. That gives me a little idea on how to take them down.''

The yellow ranger was all for the idea. She voiced her opinion over the system. "Lemme guess we synchronize our attacks eh? Let's do it! Except this time no crappy dance routine ripping off Dance Dance Revolution!"

With this information in mind the two groups of rangers in both their Megazords now had a plan on how to beat the two monster minions. The L. Megazord using its saber slashed the likes of Slayer Slayer across the torso. This in turn caused the likes of C. Fighter to recoil backwards as sparks shot from his torso.

Using this opportunity to attack the M. Wing Megazord grappled with the monstrous likes of Cyberbot Fighter and kicked him right in the gut then threw him across the battlefield and once he landed the mecha used a powerful elbow drop on the monster. This again was a feature from Billy that allowed the Megazords to follow the ranger's every move if need arise.

Back in the Slayers dimension Slayer Slayer crumpled to the ground and reacted like he'd been elbowed right square in his stomach. It seemed since the two monsters shared their injuries it would advantageous to trap them.

Both Megazords began punching their respective opponents out of the city and away from the Seyruun castle. Those in the castle saw the group had a plan in mind but they couldn't figure out what. Both Megazords utilized a powerful sideways double kicks to send their respective enemies careening backwards even more.

-begin Go Green Ranger Redux by Ron Wasserman

''Whatever you Power Punks got planned it won't work! Give it up!'' Slayer Slayer griped to the L. Megazord.

His counterpart in the dimension of the green ranger also had a few bones to pick with the ranger's other mecha, the Mythic Wing. ''C'mon rangers show me what you're really made of! I know ya got more now bring it!''

Both monsters charged headlong into battle however this time the two groups had a plan to finally end their evil reign's of terror once and for all. "Time this punk got his final goodbye. Legends Saber Slash! HEYAHHH!" The Gohan ranger called out.

The Megazord eyes lit up with a golden light and then using the Garuda's wing thrusters sped toward Slayer Slayer and slashed him right down the middle and then in half and again upward at an angle. The Legends Megazord slowed to a stop and Slayer Slayer turned dark grey and started to crumble then two seconds after crumbling he explodes upwards in a massive explosion. The Megazord then twirls its saber around and poses for the people of the Seyruun Kingdom.

Meanwhile in Yusuke's dimension the Mythic Wing began it finishing move… the trio of rangers piloting yell out. "Double Thunder Bolo Blast!" The Megazord then raised its two powerful looking arms as orange colored energy spiraled around the dyad of animal heads. It soon formed into two large globes of orange around the size of the machine's torso. The orbs were connected by a small filament of white energy. The Megazord then launched the linked orbs as they fanned out and went into a spiral spin and impacted the likes of Cyberbot Fighter hard engulfing him in a massive fireball.

Once the blast subsided the weakened form of Cyberbot Fighter was defeated. "ARGH!" He shouted out then fell over face first and blew up.

"Yeah go Amelia!'' Zelgadis cheered out not giving a care that he looked like a nut doing so.

And so after the battle had ended the Prince had congratulated the five of their victory over the forces of evil. He said he'd make a great feast in their honor which the likes of Kai and Asuka humbly declined (this however got Gohan drooling). Amelia especially embarrassed by all the attention her father was giving her. In all the time Gohan had known her this was the first time he'd seen her this flustered. ''Daddy stop it... We have to go back I'm sorry but we've no time for feasts.''

''No I insist invite your so-called green friend's Spirit Detectives too. Without them to defeat Cyberbot Fighter victory would not be yours. You all deserve it!'' The Prince insisted inviting even the green ranger's allies.

''Say what? And be bored playing video games?" Kai snarkily added. "I'll contact the others and tell them to meet us here.''

And it was then Kai contacted the other three rangers to come join them in Amelia's world. Like Kai and Asuka Hotaru was a bit hesitant to celebrate their victory with the feast to go along with it on the side. But Lina and Naga managed to convince them (like before Gohan had to keep well away from the sorceress' flirtatious advances). However Kuwabara and Botan gladly accepted the gift of a free pass to big out. The tall Spirit Detective chomped down on a chunk of broiled chicken. ''So Urameshi maybe sometime you can request this Zordon guy to recruit for the ranger business eh? How bout it?''

Yusuke was about to answer but was cut off by Lina. She was mesmerized by the types of food Amelia told about eating in Angel Grove. Things like tacos, burritos, cheese nachos, pizza, hamburgers, mac 'n cheese, potato chips, milkshakes, fried chicken, french fires among the like. It made her drool and she wished she be a ranger too if only to satisfy her notoriously gluttonous appetite. ''I wish your Zordon would make a ranger too... '' She half moaned.

''Sometime you must introduce me to this Zordon wizard leader of yours. I think he'd be a great source of wisdom for us all.'' The prince added eating a baked potato.

''Yes that is a good idea. I'd like to meet this great sage too. He made the right ranger choices.'' Botan said passing some hand crafted baked rolls to Gourry the swordsman.

"There's time for that matter... just not now.'' Asuka said smirking chowing down on some very well crafted scratched made spicy sausage. There was time for being bored and a time to eat but eating was more interesting right at the moment. The rangers contacted Zordon telling him they'd be late coming back seeing as they're at a feast in their honor no less. The sage had no objections however he was taken back by the fact several of his ranger's allies wanted to meet his greatness.
