Liz Lemon stood in the writer's room with a sleeping baby in her arms. Baby Jude was held diagonally across her chest, just comfortable enough to hold tight.
"Whoa Liz Lemon," said the newly arrived Tracy Jordan with a trademark pose. "All that's missing from this pictures is for you to do what is only natural and feed your offspring as Mother Nature intended." He looked around at the small crowd. "Don't mind us."
Liz flushed. "I don't think so," she denied as she handed a file back to Kenneth. "Mother Nature can keep her secrets a little longer methinks."
When the three week old baby let out a mewling cry, Liz shifted her daughter up to her shoulder and proudly broadcast to all "Baby Feeds Here", with two strategically placed bold arrows for the simple minded. (This shirt had come in a set with "Baby Lives Here", with an option of "Baby Doesn't Sit Here No More" for later on.)
Tracy Jordan took great difficulty in attempting to read those words splayed across her chest. "Baby Needs Here?" he guessed.
The arrival of his boss stopped his considerations. "Damn you Jack Donaghy," he said with a stomp of his foot. "I was close to getting some boob action."
"Sorry Tracy," replied Donaghy with no sympathy whatsoever. "The only ones getting anywhere near those knockers are father and daughter."
Liz snorted. "These knockers are currently out of action for another two hours," declared Liz as a collective sigh was heard from the male populace. "But this bladder isn't," she added after a moment of thought.
The determined woman then summarily dumped the baby in Jack Donaghy's arms and made for the door. She popped her head back just mere seconds later to find that somehow everyone had migrated to the duo. Shaking her head, she sought out Jack's eyes.
"Do not let Jenna near her," she warned.
And but of course, the instant that Liz Lemon disappeared from sight, Jenna Maroney sashayed into the room waving a tiny scrap of pink material above her head. The blonde actress made a bee-line for the baby as Donaghy instinctively clutched her closer.
"Hands off my child," threatened Jack as Jenna's bottom lip trembled at being denied. "One day she will wear a pink fairy dress," he said solemnly. "But today is not that day."
Finito.
