A/N: Just a little drabble about how I've always seen Axel. Sorry for spamming the KH fandom lately, or has no one else noticed all of my recent random drabbles being posted? XD

Axel had always done things his way. Even while he was working for the Organization, he was secretly only doing it to complete his own secret goals.

Why else would he en joy killing Vexen? Why else would he disobey their rules at every turn? He wasn't supposed to let Roxas leave. He wasn't supposed to chase after the blond into Diz's virtual world. He wasn't supposed to tell Sora all of the information about the Organization's plans that he did. He wasn't supposed to let Kairi get away.

But he did those things nonetheless. He did them because he wanted to, because it was part of his own inner desires. He only joined the Organization in the first place because he thought becoming whole sounded like a good idea. He only told Saïx that he was going to 'stop at nothing to turn Sora into a Heartless' because he wanted Roxas back. He only helped Sora against the Dusks because it would be best, even if it meant certain death.

Axel seemed to always choose the most difficult path. Acting against Organization XIII, doing everything out of his person interests. And he paid for it, ultimately.

Axel had always done things his way. He never cared about the consequences, only that it got him to where he wanted to be. He had fun with it.

Oddly enough, he doesn't regret a single thing.
