It had been a month since the two had started dating and Hermione couldn't be happier, over the course of that month her and Gohan had spent every afternoon together, sometimes they'd spend it walking the halls holding hands and talking while Gohan did his job trying to make sure that Sirius Black hadn't infiltrated Hogwarts, but as the days changed and the last dreg's of winter left the air, the two began spending more time outside with Hermione sitting under one of the large trees that lined the shore while Gohan trained. Unfortunately even after a month Harry and Gohan still weren't talking and if Hermione was being honest it was really starting to make her angry. Even though she now understood the reason behind the distance between the two that didn't change the fact that she thought that it was rather ridiculous, after all if Gohan would just explain to Harry the potential consequences of fighting for revenge than it would help Harry understand why he wouldn't train him, on the other hand though if Harry could drop his pride long enough to actually talk to Gohan about what was going on then he'd understand why Gohan was saying no. But no nether of them could do that, the bushy haired Brunette just didn't understand why boys had to be so stubborn and stupid.

Hermione was so absorbed in her own thoughts and the homework that she was currently doing in the shade of one of the large trees that surrounded the lake that she failed to notice when Gohan stopped training and began to head for the forbidden forest.

Gohan sighed as he threw another punch against the enemy that only he could see, the onyx haired saiyan couldn't help but to think back on the past month, specifically about the girl who was currently sitting under the tree to the left of him doing her homework. This first month of them dating had been amazing, if you were to ask him, Hermione knew more than him on how couples were supposed to act, and he was grateful that she was taking the time to help him figure it out. In fact Hermione had to be the first one to initiate hand holding because Gohan hadn't known that it was something that people did when they were a couple. But now that he knew that he was always quick to take her hand whenever they walked somewhere.

Gohan's thoughts weren't solely fixed on Hermione though, the young warrior frequently found his thoughts drift towards Harry, it had been more than a month since the two boy's had last talked, a fact that Hermione had made very clear she thought was wrong, and stupid. Gohan would be lying if he were to try and claim that he didn't miss his friend, but the truth was that Gohan hadn't changed his mind on training Harry, and so long as Harry was dead set on getting revenge Gohan doubted that the slightly younger boy would be willing to talk to him.

Gohan was just about to begin another combo until he felt a unique energy signature ping on his senses, one that the young Saiyan warrior had come to recognize over the course of the last month, a large smile easily splitting the boy's face Gohan turned and began flying towards the edge of the forbidden forest. It didn't take the boy ling to reach the edge, and much as the boy had expected he found the unique energy signature, which belonged to the large black dog that he had met on one of his trips to Hogsmead. And after seeing the sorry state that the dog was in Gohan's gentle and protective nature was quick to come screaming to the forefront, causing the young boy to buy the dog food. Gohan had planned to travel out to Hogsmead at least once a day so that he could continue bringing the dog food, only to discover that the dog had followed him back to Hogwarts and began living out in the forbidden forest. The canine had obviously taken a liking to the spiky haired boy, as it wasn't uncommon now to see the large dog sitting by the lake in the mornings watching Gohan train, or simply sitting with the boy when he was alone. Gohan sighed as he descended towards the large canine pulling a small capsule from the inside of his Gi Gohan gently depressed the plug on the end before tossing the capsule towards the ground in front of the dog, and with a small explosion and miniscule puff of smoke, a large plate of food now rested before the dog, with Gohan's capsule sitting to the side.

The young warrior smiled as he saw the dog simply sit there and watch him, obviously waiting for a signal before it began eating, and so with a large smile on his face Gohan simply nodded, that simple nod was all the signal that the canine needed before it launched towards the food rapidly devouring the meal. Gohan softly smiled as he came to a rest beside the currently eating canine, calmly laying on the grass and allowing the gentle afternoon sunlight to dance across his skin, Gohan had only intend to lay there for a minute, but without realizing it Gohan's eyes slipped shut and the boy fell away into a peaceful sleep.

In a different part of Hogwarts, another dark haired boy could be seen marching towards the dark lake, Harry knew that Gohan and Hermione had been spending a large amount of time out on the lake shore as of late. Harry had been wanting to talk to Gohan for the past month, the lightning scared boy wanted to apologize to the older boy, not only did he understand why Gohan didn't want to train him so that he could get revenge, but Harry also missed his friend. Though Harry would be lying if he were to say that he didn't still want to get revenge against Black, the lightning scared boy had decided to respect Gohan's decision, he'd simply discover a different was to become strong enough to defeat Black and get revenge for his parents. Harry had come to the decision to respect Gohan's choice shortly after he'd left the Three Broomsticks more than a month ago, as well as the obvious knowledge that he owed Gohan an apology for the things that he had said that day, but Harry hadn't been able to even get near the slightly older boy, after all how do you talk to someone who was willing to die and protect you, and not just once but twice, and those were the times that Harry knew about, the lightning scared boy was willing to bet that Gohan had put himself in danger for humanity more times than that though.

Thoughts like that had kept Harry from approaching the older boy, but after a month of procrastinating, and suffering under Hermione's angry looks, which his female friend was quick to give him. Harry had finally decided that enough was enough and so with a resolute march the boy had began his march towards the dark lake planning to try and fix his and Gohan's friendship. Harry was somewhat uncomfortable with the fact that Hermione would be there but if he was lucky the girl might leave, no scratch that knowing Hermione she'd continue sitting under her tree doing her homework, or at least acting like she was doing her homework. After all ever since the two had begun dating they had been almost inseparable when Hermione wasn't in class. So you could imagine Harry's surprise when he reached the dark lake five minutes later only to discover Hermione sitting under the tree obviously deep in thought, but Gohan was shockingly absent.

"Hey Hermione" Harry started uncertainly, shocking the girl out of her thoughts. Hermione was somewhat surprised when she looked up directly at Harry; after all she hadn't even heard her male friend approaching.

"Hello Harry" Hermione responded still staring at the lightning scared boy.

"You wouldn't happen to know where Gohan is would you?" Harry asked. Hermione frowned as she was about to tell him that Gohan should be right behind him until she noticed the fact that she couldn't hear the sound of Gohan training anymore, so after doing a cursory scan of the area only to discover that Gohan had disappeared Hermione closed her library book and all but jumped into the air.

"Oh now where did he go" Hermione all but screamed, causing Harry to take a single step backwards. Hermione was rather agitated by the fact that Gohan had disappeared; after all her boyfriend had a number of great qualities his ability to disappear was not one of them. Moreover this wasn't the first time that Gohan had disappeared on her, within seconds of that thought crossing her mind Hermione knew exactly where Gohan had disappeared to so with an agitated huff, Hermione began storming in the direction of the forbidden forest with Harry hot on her heels. It took less than fifteen minutes for the duo to reach the edge of the forbidden forest and the sight that greeted them brought a soft smile to Hermione's face while a look of shock planted itself on Harry's. Much to Harry's shock Gohan was sleeping at the edge of the forbidden forest, with a number of magical creatures, resting gently around the boy, not only did Harry see a number of Hippogriff sleeping near the boy but resting just inside the forest was a unicorn, a number of other magical creatures rested not far from the sleeping boy.

"Figures" Hermione whispered softly, it wasn't the first time that Gohan had slipped away to come spend some time at the edge of the forbidden forest only to fall asleep, and each time Hermione had intended to get onto him about leaving her without saying anything, but each time she saw him like this her anger would always evaporate within seconds. Hermione had just looked back to tell Harry that he should wake Gohan up so that they could talk only to see Harry rapidly walking away from them, so with a furious huff Hermione took off after him, with absolutely no intention of letting him get away, after all this stupid fight of theirs had gone on long enough.

Harry didn't fully understand why he was walking away, all he knew was that he couldn't face the older boy yet, because the instant that he had seen Gohan, his mind was instantly flooded with the memory of him willing to die as a child to protect the earth. Harry was almost fifty feet away when Hermione finally caught up to him.

"Harry enough is enough, you need to go and talk to Gohan." Hermione all but snarled, as she looked directly at her male friend.

"I can't Hermione" Harry whispered softly, unable to look at her.

"Why, because he told you no, did that hurt your pride so much, cause if that's the case then you really need to grow up Harry, Gohan has a reason and if you could just talk to him I'm sure that he'd be willing to explain it to you." Hermione screamed at Harry, inadvertently waking up a number of the magical creatures that had come to rest not too far from Gohan, including a certain large black furred canine.

"That's not it Hermione." Harry responded to shocked at some of the things that Hermione had said to really process them.

"Then what is it." Hermione screeched, as she came to a stop mere millimeters away from Harry's face.

"You wouldn't understand Hermione." Harry stated, as he turned and began walking away again, only serving to infuriate Hermione more.

"Explain it to me, I'm a smart girl Harry." Hermione snarled as she grabbed the sleeve of Harry's robes again, before turning him around.

"Because I keep seeing that memory" Harry screamed, stunning Hermione.

"What memory Harry?" Hermione asked gently, the girl could tell by the way that Harry's voice had cracked and the look in his eyes that the memory was painful. Harry wasn't sure if he should tell Hermione at first, after all it wasn't his memory, but knowing his friend as well as he did Harry knew that Hermione wasn't going to let this go without a fight so figuring that it was better to simply cut his losses and tell Hermione the truth, Harry quickly began explaining the memory as he remembered it.

It was ten minutes later when Harry finally finished telling Hermione about the memory, and from the look on the girls face it was obvious that Gohan hadn't informed her of the incident himself.

"Why" Hermione whispered softly.

"What?" Harry asked softly.

"Why didn't Gohan tell me, how many time's has Gohan had to put his life in danger to save others, how many times has he helped save the world without asking for any type of gratitude." Hermione whispered softly, as she looked at the ground.

"Gohan's like his father; he'll always protect others without asking for anything in return." A deep voice spoke up from behind the duo, causing both to turn around in surprise only for their eyes to widen in shock as they saw a tall green skinned man in a purple Gi with a white cape and turban on. Hermione couldn't help but to stare in shock at the man not only wondering if he was sick, but also wondering how he had gotten onto the schools property and why the strange man looked so familiar. Harry on the other hand was quick to recognize the green man as Piccolo, after all how many people could look like that.

"Now go and have your conversation with Gohan, I wish to have a spar with him." Piccolo stated while looking directly at Harry. Harry was quick to begin walking under Piccolo's stare, which he had to admit was much more intimidating then Hermione's. With each passing step Harry came to realize that he was going to speak with Gohan, so with one final resolute sigh Harry knelt towards the boy to wake him up.

And I think that's where I'll end it, for two reasons one it's really late where I live right now, and also because I'm not sure how I want to do the apology yet I have like five different ideas bouncing around in my head. So I'd like to apologize for how long it took me to get this chapter out, starting my DBZ/Naruto crossover proved harder than I thought, which if you haven't read that yet I hope you do, I also intend to have the next chapter out tomorrow if everything goes right, so as always please remember to leave a review, and you can all ways PM me if you have question so until later.
