Chapter One: The meeting

The two boys slammed me into the guy's bathroom, their smiles dark and twisted.

"So, Tom, you thinking what I'm thinking?" asked the first boy.

"Yes Bill, I think I do," replied the second boy.

"Let me go or I swear you'll wake up in the morning with your insides on the outside!" I snarled.

"Did you here that? The little slut wants us to let her go," Bill laughed with Tom joining him. As Bill started to lift my shirt up, the burst open to reveal a boy with jet black hair, dark brown eyes and pale skin.

"Look who it is, it's Goth boy," Tom declared.

"Same to you, ballerina boy," The boy answered back, his now purple eyes settling on me. That gave me an opening to stick up for myself. While they were off guard, my foot shot up and kicked bill in his mangina and my fist smashed into Tom's nose. They both yelped out in surprise.

"Let's go Goth boy!" I snapped, jolting myself out of their reach and grabbing the boy's hand. We stopped once we hid in the janitor's closet. His breath touched my lips. I let go of his hand and breathed in common sense.

"You saved yourself. And don't call me that," he snapped, his violet eyes glowing through the dim dark.

"What should I call you then?"

"My name is Vlad," he answered.

"It's ah nice to meet you. My name is-"

"Shh," he whispered. Footsteps past us.

"Where are they?!" Tom's voice echoed.

"I don't know! If I did, do you think I'd be looking for them idiot!" Bill snarled.

"Whatever." They ran arguing, leaving Vlad and me alone once more.

"Name?" Vlad asked.

"What-? Oh! My name is Zoey."

"Nice name," he told me, opening the closet door. His eyes were once again brown.

"Thanks," I replied, and walked out. His eyebrow rose as I left him there. I can't afford to make friends…
