A/N: Just something I wanted to write. It's strange.
Angel was sitting on a park picnic bench, alone. Her blond hair curled to her waist. Her shockingly blue eyes looked up at the stars. The Flock had been staying here longer than usual.
Yes, her Flock. Angel was an 8 year old freak. She had fluffy white wings, like a dove. The rest of her family did as well.
Gasman, her biological brother, had light colored wings and blue eyes like hers. His fluffy hair always made Angel smile. Gazzy was 10.
Nudge was the chatterbox. She had dark skin and hair and eyes. Her wings were light brown. She was 13.
Iggy was the pyro/chef/blind guy. He had strawberry blond hair and foggy blue eyes. He had just turned 16.
Fang was 16 also, and was dark. Really, dark hair, dark clothes, dark wings. Dark.
Max. Max was turning 17 today. She had light brown hair and really dark brown eyes. Maximum Ride had been like Angel's mother all her life. Angel loved her, maybe a little bit more than the rest of the flock.
But that night, she didn't acknowledge any of that. Angel just sat and stared at the strangely large moon.
Iggy trotted up right then. His hair was messy, but his eyes were excited.
"What ya doin Angelbear?" Iggy asked playfully.
Angel just smiled and telepathically sent him a picture of the night sky. Angel was special like that.
"Wow." Iggy said shortly. Angel was shocked off the bench when she saw something fly over the moon. It looked like a human on a broomstick.
A human on a broomstick? Angel didn't care that it sounded ridiculous. She needed to tell someone.
"Iggy1" His head snapped to her direction. "Come on, fly!" Angel tore off her sweatshirt and spread her wings. Iggy followed suit, not knowing entirely what he was doing. He followed Angel's sound.
When Iggy received a picture, he gasped. In front of them there was a line of broomsticks with people on them. They were getting closer and closer.
The two people closest to them were identical. In front of them, 3 more humans were zooming through the sky. That wasn't right.
Of course these 5 humans were oblivious to the hybrids behind them. That is-until the mentioned hybrids were right over them.
These 5 are no doubt familiar to you, Ms. or Mr. reader. They were Harry Potter, Ron Weasly, Hermione Granger, Fred and George Weasly. They were all wizards.
Harry expected a burn in his scar when he saw things above them. But none came. All the same, these creatures made him wary. He saw Hermione pull out her wand. A few words were muttered, and they were off like a rocket. The wizards must've hit 150 miles an hour!
Angel watched as they flew away on their brooms. She'd seen the spell and the sparks. She'd seen it. Now she knew their names as well. Hermione was the smart one. Maybe one day, she could join them in wizardry. Maybe.
"Magic." Angel whispered.
"Angel," Iggy told her. "There is no such thing as magic."
Of course, Angel knew otherwise. She knew the wizards were telling each other there were no such things as kids with wings. When they landed, Angel knew she had a secret to protect. Her whole life she remembered the red head boys, Hermione with frizzy hair and funny scarred Harry.
And she never told a soul.
A/N: Wow, that's stupid. Ah, well. Whatcha gonna do? Please review?
