A Normal Day
"Nii-chan."

"Nii-chan."

"Nii-chan!"
"WHAT!" A boy who was around four years old yelled, his lavender eyes flared with anger. The said boy whose long, black hair was being pull swung his head towards the culprit behind him. The culprit was a little girl who was around one year old. Her crystal clear brown orbs looked at her brother innocently. Then, tears began to gather in her eyes and after a while, she began to cry.
"Oh my, I'm in big trouble." The boy mumbled.
"Takeshi, what did you do this time?" A woman walked out of the house and into the small garden. She approached the little girl and held her in her arms before whispering soft words into the little girl's ear to comfort her. After a while, the trick worked and the girl finally calmed down. After that, the woman looked the boy intently, expecting him to say something. The boy sighed.
"Kaasan, I'm trying to meditate under the tree before Hikari-chan disturbed me." He pointed towards the girl who was his sister. The woman sighed.
"Takeshi," The woman put her daughter down before she turned towards her son. "You should not yell at your sister. After all, she was just trying to play with you."
"But, kaasan….."
"Please, Takeshi?"
"……Yes, mum." The boy lowered his head. The woman smiled and touched his head. Before she wanted to say something, somebody had said what she wanted to say.
"Good boy, Takeshi."
All of them turned their heads towards the newcomer. The man now standing in front of them had black hair and the trademark of the Hyuga clan, Byakugan. The boy who resembled him grinned and ran towards the man.
"Tousan! You are back!" He hugged his father. The man smiled slightly and hugged him back. Then, he looked at the little boy before him.
"Go and play with your sister, Takeshi. She is waiting. The training can wait." He told his son. The said boy nodded his head before he ran off to play with his sister.
After their children went to have their fun, Neji pulled Tenten into his arms and kissed her forehead. Tenten smiled blissfully before resting her head on his shoulder. Then, her head tilted upwards and their eyes met.
"Welcome back, Neji."
Neji smiled and planted a light kiss on her soft lips before whispering these words into her ears.
"I'm home, Tenten.
