Kirk Lazarus thought this was a chipper, good idea. Yet, here he was; sitting at the bar, alone aside from his full glass of scotch that sat so quaintly in front of him. Taunting him.
The party was everywhere except where he sat, reminding him of just how alone he really was. All the fame and glamour he had seemed like nothing for he had no one to share it with. He'd love to have a sweet little woman to love, and one to love him back. And to be completely honest, it has been a considerable amount of time since he's last shared sexual intimacy with a woman. His roles keep him too busy for anything like that.
"Want another?" He heard the voice of the middle-aged bartender asked, pulling his attention towards him. Kirk glanced down at his glass, didn't even realize it had been emptied.
"Aye, mate." Probably not best that he drank so heavily, but what's it matter? The bartender filled his drink with the amber liquid and he watched as the liquor bubbled and slowed to a dull stop, unmoved. He made no movement, just sat, his clear blue eyes staring down at the stout glass.
"You know, scotch usually works when you consume it through your mouth, not by staring it down like you're going to kill it or something." A strong, unique voice spoke to him. He turned his head quickly to the right and spied the owner of the voice, a small, jovial looking woman with bright auburn hair and ivory skin. "Are you alright?"
Kirk blinked once and twice again to be sure that she was really there, and it wasn't just the alcohol playing with his mind. He nodded quickly.
"Yeh, jus' thinking, deary."
She raised her eyebrows, "Oh? What is it you're thinking about?"
He cocked his head to the side, deciding whether or not to tell her. She seemed like a nice girl, a little too outgoing maybe, but nice. And so he told her, all of what he was thinking, every bit of it. Even the part about the sex.
As he was talking, a smirk rose on her thin lips.
"--What?"
"I have no idea what you're saying..." Kirk's face fell at the mention of this, "...But I like it."
A smile rose to his lips and he even flashed his teeth.
"My most apologies, miss, my name is Kirk. Kirk Lazarus." He extended his hand and she shook it sweetly.
"Alexandria Sharp. But you can call me Alex."
