Disclaimer: I obviously don't own the Penguins of Madagascar.
Takes place after Operation: Blowhole. Implied slash. One-shot. :D
Its been awhile since I've written anything, so be gentle please.

The penguins were in their HQ getting a much deserved rest after their mission. Sitting around the table finishing a late dinner, discussing the day's events.
"You know Skipper, I still find it pretty funny that Dr. Blowhole thought you and Julien were BFFs," said Private chuckling a bit, but stopped when Skipper gave him a stern look.
"Come on Skipper. Like we said before, you two do spend a lot of time together," Kowalski said with grin, trying to avoid the leader's eye.
"Uh-huh," smirked Rico, looking directly at him. Unlike the others, it took a lot more than a stare to make him back off. A lot more.
"Yes. It's hysterical," was the only responds that came from Skipper. He was being unusually quiet. Which almost seem to disappoint the others. It wasn't very often when they could tease their leader and his lack of reaction was, well… lame. They hadn't angered him, had they?
"It's understandable though. I mean just the other day you and Julien went to go see that movie together," said Private. Perhaps Skipper just needed a little push. So they could find out what was bothering him, of course.
"What of it. Me and Ringtail share a lov- an interest of European political zombie horror movies," Skipper replied.
"Well, you've been playing Chinese checkers with him pretty regularly the last couple of weeks," said Kowalski. "Which is kind of weird, since I didn't even know that either of you had any interest in the game till you started playing."
"Plus the whole constantly saving each others lives thing."
"You let him have that old TV we found after you made me fix it."
"He gave you that necklace he made. Even though he knew you probably wouldn't wear it."
"He invited you to dinner last week. Just the two of you…"
"…"
"Um, Skipper, is there something you aren't telling us?" asked Kowalski. He looked nervously over at Skipper. In an instant Skipper's face flushed with panic.
"You know boys, its been a long day. I'm going to hit the hay!" Skipper rushed out. He got up from the table and all but ran towards the bunks. Jumped into his own bed and turned his back toward the penguins. Fake snoring was soon heard.
"Kowalski?" whispered a confused Private.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure Skipper will tell us when he's ready," Kowalski spoke quietly. "Even if it's pretty obvious now and I'm baffled how we didn't even notice before."
Another silence came.
"Hehe, bow-chika-bow-wow," grunted Rico.
"Quiet!"
