Uriel was dead, killed by Anna.

He wanted to stab Castiel; she couldn't let him do it.

Castiel got up slowly, turned and looked in her eyes.

She had saved him one more time.

"You have just killed Uriel…an Archangel..." he said, surprised.

"Yes, I did... and I don't care," replied Anna, a slight smile on her lips.

"Why did you do it? Why for me?" he asked.

Anna raised her hand and touched his cheek. This time he didn't move.

"Don't you guess?"

Castiel lowered his look. "Please Anna," he whispered, "we can't..."

She sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, always the same story... we don't, we can't..."

"Anna," he interrupted her, "it's forbidden, you know..."

"I know, but I've fallen, so..."

"You, not me. I'm a soldier; I'm an angel...I really can't do anything...please don't touch me anymore. Never again," Castiel said seriously.

"I still am an angel," she replied, irritated.

The man shook his head. "You are even a human...you know every aspect of human life. Love, sex..."

Anna believed she knew what he meant.

"Oh, I know. You're so pure, so saintly. You are an angel of the Lord; instead I am a fallen angel... I've disobeyed. Okay, um...good luck and keep your eyes open. Uriel wasn't the only one." And with that, she turned to go away.

"Anna," he called her before she went away.

"What?"

"Thank you, you have saved me..."

She smiled sadly. "You know why I did it. It's forbidden but I can't hide what I feel. You still are my ancient love..."

"Anna... I don't want you touch me because when you do it, I feel the fire in my heart, in my body. I don't wanna fall, please don't make me fall. Don't talk to me like this...please."

The young woman looked in his eyes and saw the truth.

There was love, passion, anger and fear.

Finally she understood.

"Is it a farewell?" she asked with a trembling voice.

Castiel nodded. "It is. My orders are still the same. Hide yourself where I can't find you. I don't wanna kill you."

They looked at each other in a heavy silence.

Then Anna nodded and walked to Castiel. "That's okay," she began, "but I have to do something before..."

"What?" asked Castiel.

"This." Anna took his face in her hands and kissed him.

It only lasted a few seconds, but Castiel thought he was going to pass out.

He saw their history, their battles... their sadness.

Anna broke the kiss and looked at him. "I'll never do it again, I swear. But I need to have the memory of your lips... forgive me. You're right, I'm still human and so I feel...desire. I don't wanna make you fall you wouldn't be happy. Take care of yourself, Cas and...call me if you need some help. I'll fly to you. I will kill anyone who could harm you..."

"I desire you but I can't have you..." he said without thinking.

"This hurts me more than anything…but I understand...goodbye..."

Anna walked away and vanished.

Castiel lowered his head, sighed and went away.

It was forbidden, but he loved her.

And the Heaven knew that.
