Dean watches the door slam shut and he feels the reverberation in his very soul. He can't believe Sam has left.

He looks across the room to where Dad is burying himself in denial, along with another shot of Jack. His family is falling apart after he's fought tooth and nail to keep it together.

He tries to looks stoic and knows he's failing when Dad pours a second glass, passing it wordlessly to him, frightened a single utterance will shatter the world into a thousand pieces.

So he closes his mind to what's happened and drinks himself to oblivion.
