The gun rested against the soft flesh, and the trigger was pulled. A mixture of blood, gray matter and skin sprays viciously against the wall.
Germany's eyes widened at his leaders act of surrender. He clutches his head, and took deep deep breaths, before sliding down the wall where he once stood.
"O-Oh gott…" he whimpered softly, his sanity starting to gray. "O-Oh mein gott.." The Prussian stood in the doorway, observing the scene. Japan and Italy sat together in the corner, huddled together for comfort. Slowly, Germany's tears started to form. "T-The allies are coming… The Rhine is crossed…" He hugged his shoulders, head hanging low. "It's all over.."
Gilbert strode over from his side of the room purposely. "West." He said plainly, making the German's head slowly raise up. Not even an inch had it cleared his knees when the Prussian quickly hit him across then face, the sound of impact reverberating loudly through the underground bunker. Italy and Japan slowly looked up, observing the scene unfolding. The tears, set free from their prideful prisons began to fall as Germany touched his cheek with a black gloved hand.
"W-Why bruder..?" he hiccupped out. Prussia swooped down and grabbed Germany's collar, lifting him up and pinning him against the wall.
"Don't believe in Hitler!" He began. "But don't believe in your awesome alte bruder ether! I want you, to believe in the West.. That believes in you! Kick logic to the curb, and fight with passion! That's the way I taught you, isn't it West?!" he smirked, his red eyes glittering in the low light.
Germany blinked for a moment, before slowly wiping his tears away. "Danke bruder.. Sie wissen immer, was ich sagen soll."
Silently, Japan burned this image into his mind, and in 2007, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann would Spin On into otaku hearts everywhere.
