Kouichi wanted a hug.

But Kouji was busy with homework.

Kouichi quietly tiptoed behind Kouji and looked over Kouji's shoulder.

Kouji was doing math.

Kouichi tiptoed away and sat down on the sofa.

Kouichi still wanted a hug.

Back and forth Kouichi went, tiptoeing behind Kouji and looking over Kouji's shoulder.

Soon, Kouichi was caught.

"Do you need something, Kouichi?" Kouji asked.

Kouichi froze.

"Uhm..." Kouichi muttered, staring at the floor. "Never mind." And Kouichi scurried away.

Kouji shrugged and continued with his homework.

Kouichi peeked into the kitchen, where Kouji was still doing homework.

'Just ask him.' Kouichi thought. 'Just one little hug.'

Again, Kouichi tiptoed back and forth through the kitchen, and again, he was caught.

"Do you need something?" Kouji asked.

And again, Kouichi said no and scurried off.

Kouji was getting curious now. Why was Kouichi acting so weird?

Kouji got up and went over to the doorway to the kitchen. He heard Kouichi talking to himself.

"Just one little hug." Kouichi said to himself. "Just one."

'A hug? That's what he wanted?' Kouji thought, smiling. He tiptoed to Kouichi and gave him a small hug.

Kouichi didn't know Kouji was there, and nearly jumped out of Kouji's hug.

Soon noticing it was Kouji, Kouichi smiled and hugged his brother back tightly.

"...We will speak of this to no one." Kouji said.

"Okay." Kouichi agreed.

Kouji just doesn't want Takuya to find out. ^^
