Hello, it's Abby. I'm hoping this story will turn out okay. I had to change Rin and Len's last name to give it a European effect. Give me your reviews, please! This is dedicated to all the victims in the Holocaust.

Dear Diary,
My brother Len managed to get this for me before we were deported from Hungary. Before I write any further, let me introduce myself.
I am Rin Kadosa and I am fourteen-years-old. I have a younger twin brother named Len Kadosa; the rest of my family either was slaughtered or died on the way to where we are now. My brother and I are both Hungarian Jews and for this, we were deported from our country and transported to Auschwitz.
For anyone reading this, you now know who I am. Len, if you're reading this, get out of my diary.
Today, we got off that train from Hell. There were horrid sights all around me, but the most horrid? Watching my mother die on the way to Auschwitz. I didn't think that I would outlive her. We'd always be talking about how she would grow old and look over my own children. I know that I would have spiraled into depression if it weren't for her dying words. "Rinikka, darling, push forward. Don't cry over me because I know you're a daring little girl. Be brave." I keep those words in my heart, Mother.
Those blasted SS pushed the people piling out of the train either to the right or to the left. I didn't know the purpose for this until one gaunt lady grabbed me wildly and shrieked, "Get on the right, girl, if you want to live! They'll burn you like a witch if you're on the other side!" I caught on to what she meant.
My eye caught on something. Someone. That someone was a slick man in a commanding officer uniform with the Nazi symbol. His hair was neatly combed and his eyes were gentle, pure. It was disturbing. Out of everything, the man was smiling. In all this chaos, how can this man dare to smile? I want to spit on those shiny black boots of his.
Beckoning with his arm, this man yelled for twins to come to him. I was going to ignore him until I felt a pull on my arm. Of course I look at the person pulling at me and see that it is Len. "Rin, let's go to him. I do not think he will hurt us."
Suspiciously, I stare into Len's eyes. My brother is a naïve one, but we both go to this man.
Now we're in this dirty place called The Twins' Barrack. Our dinner was a loaf of moldy bread and muddy water. All I want to do is go home! Len and I are both scared and starving. I hate it here.
For those of you who don't know, my story chapters are short. Thanks for reading and don't forget to review!
