Nine One One

Author's Note: Nothing special. Just something I thought of when I had to dial 9-1-1 this past weekend. Not my best, but I hope you enjoy it all the same!

Disclaimer: I unfortunately do not own any of TMNT…. Just the plot.

"What now?" Raph asked.

They all glanced at each other.

"I vote we keep her!" Mikey exclaims, raising his hand.

Smack!

"Owww!"

Raph rolled his eyes, "She ain't a pet moron. That's what you gotta cat for."

"Logically, we should call for an ambulance." Donnie said.

Leo agreed. "Fair enough."

The girl moaned in pain and Donnie kneeled beside her, beginning to check over her injuries while Leo hovered nearby.

"Raph, keep watch for us and Mikey call 9-1-1."

"On it!" Mikey had already pulled out his shell cell to dial, but then pauses. "Uh…wait." he scratched his head, "What's the number to 9-1-1?"

His brothers give exasperated sighs.

Mikey chuckled, "Kidding, kidding!" he pressed the phone to his ear, "Ever seen Little Rascals? Learn to take a joke. Sheesh!"

Smack!

"Ow! Raph!"

"Gimme the phone, bonehead."

"This is 9-1-1. What's your emergency?"

"Yeah, we need an ambulance."

"Why exactly do you need an ambulance?"

"There's a girl unconscious in an alley."

"And what happened?"

"Muggin' "

"How did you find her?"

"What is this, twenty questions? Just send us a damn ambulance!" he raged, losing his patience.

"Sir, I'm going to need you to calm down. What is your name?"

Raph growled, already getting angry and before he could make a retort the phone was snatched away by his younger brother.

"Excuse my hot head of a brother, ma'am." Mikey said.

"And what is your name?"

"Oh! My name is -"

His brothers began waving their hands at him.

Mikey raised an eye ridge and improvised.

"Uh, Michael?"

"Last name?"

"Angelo."

The other three turtles groaned.

"Your name is… Michael...angelo?"

"Yes, that's my name."

There was a long pause.

"Okay… and where exactly are you?"

"I think it's fifth and Main…"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Mikey started and dropped the phone.

The girl was awake and staring wide eyed at Raph. Then, much like April did when she first saw them, promptly fainted.

"I told you, you were ugly, Raph." Mikey said.

Raph turned around to give him another whap in the head, but was halted by Leo, who raised a finger to his lips.

Sirens.

The four turtles glanced at each other and melted with the darkness surrounding the alley. They watched from the roof top as the ambulance screeched to a stop and headed towards the unconscious girl, who was now mumbling about humanoid turtles wearing bandanas.

That was when Donnie made a discovery.

"You guys, we were across from the hospital the whole time!"
